Capítulo 103: Borrowed Time

Jake smiled brightly. "I have no problem with that knowledge. My parents told me about it. It doesn't matter to me at all. What is important to me is that I can spend some time with you and you will become a part of that milestone in regaining my vision. We may never be together in this lifetime but at least you have become part of my life once. That's enough for me!" he said in a voice thick with emotion.

Helen looked at his face and sighed inwardly. Jake looks happy, but if she will reveal the truth to her husband that she's going abroad to Switzerland, he will get mad for sure.

Last night, while she was watching over her father. She has already formulated a valid reason to tell her husband why she's going abroad to Switzerland, she will tell him a lie. She will go there to accompany her father for a bypass heart surgery and will be gone from the country for a few months or even one year.
