Capítulo 46: Chapter 46

The sounds of shouting and urgent announcements over a PA system in the main halls filled the Den as wolves scrambled, getting into positions around the cavern. Every few moments another tremor would run through the building and the cavern as a whole as Laricus and his men battered their way through the defensive enchantments that kept this place safe.

Jeremiah, Nymia and Sara ran with Sargon and Gilah, getting outside to a position situated behind most of the wolves gathered. Sargon turned to Gilah and put a hand on her shoulder.

“I need you to go and make sure those too young to fight are safe. There’s a small escape tunnel that leads to a point one of our allies is going to hold for some time. Make sure they all get through, and then come back. Understood?”

Gilah nodded and with one last worried glance at her daughter and her partners, she took off at a sprint, running to go and get the youngest children out of the Den.
