Capítulo 168: You Really Get Me

"Two fat cats?" Emily asked, confused. They meowed at her and their paws rested on the edge of the box as they looked around, sniffing the air.

"They're pregnant!" Justin exclaimed holding his hands out. "Tada!"

They both jumped out of the box and the calico rubbed against her side, purring loudly. Emily was so overwhelmed that she burst out crying, which wasn't far from what Justin expected. He knew how much she loved cats.

She picked up the calico and snuggled her close as tears rolled down her face, belying her giant smile. "They're beautiful! But how on earth did you end up with two pregnant cats?"

"I wanted to get you a kitten," he admitted, holding the back of his neck sheepishly. "But when I went to the shelter, these two were on the kill list and I knew I had to take them for you.
