The morning sun shone through the curtains dimly on Tina's face as she sat on the bed half asleep. She was awake but too lazy to move.
"Excuse me" Andrew excused himself as he opened the door to her room. "Good morning sleepyhead" He greeted now inside her room, making her snap out of her sleepy state.
"oh.. Morning Andrew" Tina greeted back as she noticed he was all dressed up, Seems he's going to work, she thought.
"You are going to work right?" She still asked regardless as she stood up, heading towards the bathroom.
"Of course I'm going to work, silly" Andrew gave a light chuckle at her silly question. "Anyways" he continued, "I came to inform you that you'd be following me to work, there's someone I need you to meet regarding where you'd stay issue. So, hurry up or I would be late."
"Okay!" Tina replied almost immediately he finished speaking, now fully awake. She was excited and relieved plus a bit worried.
Excited she wasn't going to stay in the house alone with Alice, Relieved that Andrew has found somewhere for her to stay and a bit worried she would be staying with someone she didn't know, but she wasn't too bothered about it though, she believed she had good communication skills.
........
Tina leaned her head by the closed window glass of Andrew's black Toyota Land Cruiser, enjoying the Cold air the car's AC was providing and also the beautiful view of country X. It was an elite city, and as expected everywhere was arranged so neatly and beautifully.
She thought within herself that she was going to enjoy the view of this city properly before she leaves.
She released a short sigh, she still dreamt of him last night again. Part of the reasons why she moved here was because she thought if she moved to somewhere new, she would stop dreaming about him but sadly, that didn't work. She wished there was a solution, she has gotten tired of dreaming about him, she didn't want to dream about him anymore, she wants to instead see him!.
In no time they reached their destination. Andrew stopped in front of a large metal gate, whined down his window glass and handed out a yellow card to a security officer who immediately receiving the card, signaled another security officer to opened the gates. Tina thought to herself that the security here was tight.
Tina was really surprised the moment she stepped down from the car, She wasn't expecting Andrew's work place to be as elegant as this. There were three large buildings, all so fancy looking, neat and looked New but she knew this place wasn't recently built.
Fascinated, She asked "How did you managed to get a job here?" She knew he was capable but still wanted to know how he got it.
"Are you for real now?" Andrew gave a light chuckle as he took large strides to the largest and tallest building -which contained seven floors- with Tina who kept looking around, trailing behind.
"Well, a friend of mine somewhat helped me, she's the person we are meeting"
"Oh...A she huh?, How did you meet her" Tina pried further relieved it was a girl, she thought it would be a man.
Andrew released a short sigh, smiling to himself as he remembered that day they met.The smile that didn't escape Tina's eyes.
"Why don't I tell you when we get to my office" Andrew said as he went towards the receptionist to get his name tag and keys. Using the elevator, they reached Andrew's office which was fifth floor.
Andrew's office was designed in a very simple but exquisite way. It contained a medium size glass table, behind it a leather chair and opposite, two other leather chairs meant for guests, then a mini shelf.
Tina looked around for awhile then asked "Do all the offices here look like yours?"
"No. Except the ones on the same floor as me, the designs of every office depends on the floor they're at, like the sixth floor looks more exquisite than my floor and the seventh floor which is the highest, meant for the CEO is more exquisite than any floor here"
Tina gave an "oh...", before remembering he wanted to tell her how he met the lady that helped him.
folding her arms on her chest, she reminded him.
"So...you wanted to tell me something"
On hearing her words,Andrew stopped shuffling through the papers on his table then looked at Tina and gave that smile again.
"why don't you sit down first" On hearing his words, Tina hurriedly sat down on one of the chairs meant for guests and waited for Andrew to begin.
Seeing her eagerness,he began.
