CHAPTER 109

A blush crept up Yasmin's cheek. She didn't think he'd be interested in her after the downgrading words Desmond mentioned earlier.

"Or, don't you want to anymore?"

Yasmin's head snapped up. The answer to his question hung on her lips for some seconds.

"If you do not want that, I understand. However, I still want to understand why you ran away that morning. Or was the reason linked to you searching through my things?"

Her breathing hitched. How in heaven did he know she did something like that?

"Shocked?"

"I-I…" Yasmine stuttered. 

There was no explanation she could give that would not look suspicious. Neither did she think she wanted to tell him the truth either. 

"Relax. Enough stuttering, Yasmin. I know you did not steal anything from me." Yasmin released a deep sigh. 

It was a good thing his thought went in that direction and not what she thought.
