CHAPTER 82

After having her breakfast, Skai picked up her laptop from her desk, wanting to go through the files Mr. Lucien sent to her mail.

While waiting for her laptop to load, a call came through her phone. 

The little smile on her face fell when she saw the unknown number. She was sceptical about answering it at first but later she did. 

What more could go wrong than all the mishaps she faced? Skai shrugged, lacing the call on her ear. "Hello."

"I hope you're happy, bitch." 

Skai withdrew the phone from her ear to check the caller ID. Who could it be? She wondered. 

"How could you have the heart to do this to him?"

Unable to take the accusations thrown at her, she spoke, "Excuse me?"

"You're excused, Skai Jayden. Wait till you face my lawyers. I'll sue you for assault."

Skai's eyes darkened. The more the caller spoke, the easier it became for her to pick out her voice. 

"Zoe."
