Skai held her chest, coughing a bit louder than planned. 

What did she just hear Davion say? 

She stared blankly at him. Was that what Damien did with his clients or workers…

She shook her head, preventing her mind from venturing into something naughty. 

Irrespective of what she went through or the pocknosing heads filling the air around the office, Davion did not flinch but instead had his gaze locked on her. 

He scrunched his brows. "You done?"

How was it possible that this didn't have an impact on him? Skai wondered. She blinked, trying to gather her thoughts. 

"Um, yes, but umm… sir."

"Davion," he corrected. "Between you and I, just Davion."

"Yes, si… I mean, Davion." He nodded, approving her learning. "Pardon me, but why ask me?"
