Hazel, who wasn't expecting it that moment, screamed as she fell inside the river. The worst part of it, instead of her standing upright, so that the water could not cover her face, she was lying horizontally, her body sinking into the water.

Lucifel watched her for a moment, his gaze went back to Lady Evelyn, his eyebrows furrowed, trying to understand whatever was happening. He had heard their conversation, and apparently, it seemed Lady Evelyn thought that his pet had some sort of powers.

He was also curious to know what kind of powers would emit from his pet just by pushing her into the river. Was there anything magical about Hazel that Lady Evelyn felt? Was that the same reason he was hypnotised by her?

Lady Evelyn watched Hazel intently as she remained inside the water, there was no showing of any of her body parts on the water surface.
