Lucifel looked at the guards who were still dragging the young man ahead before he replied, looking at Hazel, "He is just some pest who is here for distraction."

"Do you reckon he is from Xavier?" Hazel asked again, her eyes not leaving them when Lucifel didn't reply to her. She nudged him on his arm and then reiterated, "Do you reckon that young man is from Xavier? Is that the reason you want to eliminate him and-"

"I did not plan to eliminate. He should be beaten up so that he wouldn't try attending this ball anymore."

Hazel thought for some seconds before replying, "If you put it that way, he plainly doesn't sound like a pest. Though I could not see him properly because he is almost beaten to a pulp, I do not think a young man as he is would be able to commit a heavy crime that would need such punishment."

He only looked ahead, not saying anything. He couldn't tell her that he was actually dealing with one of her clan members.
