The usual bustling energy of Hell's Kitchen had an extra layer of anxiety tonight. With Victor and Lucien out on some mysterious business they wouldn't talk about, the rest of the team had to handle the restaurant by themselves. The gravity of the task hung in the air as Nyssa, Elise, Lyra, and Evelyn prepared for the evening's service.

"Okay, everyone," Nyssa said, trying to sound confident as she addressed the team. "We've got this. We've handled busy nights before, and tonight will be no different."

Elise leaned against the bar, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Just remember, if anything goes wrong, blame it on Victor and Lucien for not being here."

Lyra chuckled, adjusting her apron. "Let's just hope we don't burn the place down. I don't think Victor would appreciate that."

Evelyn, her usual nervousness magnified by the absence of their leaders, nodded vigorously. "We'll be fine. We just need to stay calm and work together."
