Toji nodded. "Yes, Father. I am aware."
His father's expression grew colder. "It is unacceptable for a member of our family to be devoid of magic, especially the heir. Your failure to manifest even the slightest spark of magic has not only disgraced our name but has also jeopardized our standing within the magical community."
Toji's jaw tightened, but he kept his voice even. "I understand, Father. But…"
"Enough," his father interrupted, raising a hand. "I did not summon you here to listen to excuses. We have decided to take action."
Toji asked. "What kind of action?"
"You will be sent to London," his father said coldly. "You will live there with minimal support and under strict surveillance. The purpose of this arrangement is twofold: to distance you from our family's affairs and to see if you can find some purpose in a different environment."
Toji's eyes widened slightly, but he remained silent. The news was both a punishment and a test. Being sent away to London was a clear sign of his diminished status, but it also presented an opportunity—an opportunity to prove himself in a new setting.
"Additionally," his father continued, "You are to remain out of sight. Your presence in the magical world of Britain must not cause any disturbance. Your continued failure to demonstrate magical prowess will only confirm the decision to disown you further."
Toji nodded, a mix of resignation and determination in his eyes. "Understood, Father."
"Good!" His father raised his wands as he chanted a spell finally relaxing himself, "That's what the clan and the elders will know."
Toji looked up in confusion as he didn't expect his father to speak so softly all of a sudden.
"I am aware of your physical prowess, I don't know why your magic manifested in such a way and I am sure no one has the answers as to what happened to you. But one thing is for certain, it's your journey to find out."
"Now, the story I am going to sell to the clan is what I just said to you but in reality what you would be doing is attending Hogwarts."
Toji could feel his lips twitching but the moment was appropriate enough to throw a fit, hence why he sat and listen, "The headmaster there has agreed on your enrollment in return for a favor, so I hope you won't disappoint me again."
"Yes, father..." Toji said feeling his insides burning with rage. Sure, having one of the most powerful physique was one thing he was happy about but when it came to the laws and the way this world worked, it seemed to be working quite opposite to his liking.
Sure, if he trained more and allowed his ability to fester, he would likely be unstoppable in most scenarios even against most trained wizards.
"You've got something to say?"
"Ah! No, father... I was just wondering what someone like me who can't use magic possibly learn from Hogwarts or any school for that matter." Toji twisted the conversation into something more appropriate than what he was thinking,
"You got nothing to learn you say?" His father smirked, "That is true if you want to be average or normal, but with your strength, will it allow your ego to do so?"
Taking Toji's silent as a reply he continued, "You're an anomaly that can't exist in either side of the world neither as a wizard nor as a ordinary human. So it better if you side with the 'freaks' than the ordinary ones."
"So you'll need to possibly learn whatever you can about magic, so one day you can reclaim your throne back."
"You mean..."
"Currently your position as the heir as been forwarded to your elder cousin but nothing is temporary in this world now, is it?" His father smiled sent shivers down Toji's spine just glancing at the menacing glare his father was giving him, "Pack you things... you'll leave tonight."
"Yes, father."
"Oh and Toji... I wouldn't mind a little chaos before you go."
Toji stuck in his place turned back with a smile, he nodded understanding the meaning behind the words of his father before leaving the room as politely as he could. But as soon as the door behind him closed, Toji couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
Obviously the position didn't matter too much to him, but what mattered was the power and the wealth that came with it. Wether it be comparing history or present, his family was the richest wizarding family in the world with countless treasures and wealth tied not only to the wizarding world but to the world of muggles as well.
In fact, his family owned corporations and shares of many industry giants from the get go.
"It doesn't matter if I can't use magic as long as I can break their wands and shove it in their faces," Kai smiled stretching his arms, "Who would've guessed the father that I feared all my life would actually be so shrewd."
"You dare!" The maid awaiting him at the door hissed, her eyes blazing with contempt. "Laughing like a fool when you've just been disowned!"
Toji's amusement vanished, replaced by a cold, steely gaze. He stepped closer to the maid, his imposing presence making her instinctively step back despite his short stature.
"Watch your tongue," he said quietly, his voice laced with a menacing edge. "I may be leaving, but I am still a member of this family."
The maid's bravado faltered under his intense stare, and she looked away, muttering something under her breath.
"You know what... let's start it with you." Toji unseathed his katana with a playful smile as chaos unfolded in the clan.
Loud screams and yells could be heard all over the clan's building, followed by loud spell casting and explosion that were loud and deafening.
After what felt like an hour, the chaos finally settled as Toji lazily walked around, in the middle was his elder cousin shivering with spite written all over his petty face.
"Do you think you can kill me and get away with it?"
"Who said anything about killing?" Toji asked looking confused, "I am just walking around the place teaching everyone manners and from what I've heard you were the one cocky enough to make even the maids scorn at me."
"The root of their confidence..." Toji smiled reaching closer to his cousin as he shrieked in panic, "Don't be such a pussy now, I am just taking your wand."
"What..." His cousin opened his eyes to find Toji gleefully playing with his cherised wand.
"What was it again? Cherry wood with Dragon's heartstring?" Toji slowly walked around, "So much potential... only for you to lose to a squib. I bet you were gleefully waking around Mahoutokoro, swinging your wand around from your privilidged little club."
"Do you have any idea how rare it is..." His cousin sneered, "Our grandfather slained the great dragon himself from which the wand was made... if you destroy it, it's not only me who would be after you but the whole clan."
"Meh! Been there done that..." Toji shrugged, "But you're right about one thing though... it's too beautiful and precious to be destroyed. How about this?"
"I'd hold on to your wand until you can take it from me."
"You..." His cousin got up on his feet grabbing his collar only for Toji to casually throw him with a judo move breaking his arm accidentally.
"Ooooh! That's gotta hurt." Toji chuckled walking away from his whining cousin, "Just a couple days of bedrest and skele-gro should do the trick."
