Capítulo 57: Chapter 57: "After the Basilisk Fight: Relaxation, Mischief, and Memory Loss"
Hermione feels guilty for not realizing sooner that Draco was the culprit in the battle with the Basilisk, despite Lockhart's protection. Professor Dumbledore's words seem to be hinting at something, but she can't quite decipher their meaning.
Everyone is more relaxed now that the final exam has been cancelled. Harry spends a day at the Quidditch Stadium, catching up on training while Ron cheers him on. Special Contribution Award has given them a high score and allowed them to relax a bit. Even though training can be tiring, it is still enjoyable for those who love it.
Ron and Harry also spend time in the lounge playing wizard chess and helping George and Fred with their new product experiments. They have developed a lot of new tricks, including a roaring letter that includes the sound of a rooster, the tune of the school song, and even the sounds of frogs and toads (thanks to Neville's pet toad, Trevor).
It's almost predictable that these items will end up on Filch's confiscated list, as they often disturb the teaching order. However, during the time the basilisk was causing havoc, the roaring letter provided a calming distraction for students who were feeling fearful, so most people chose to turn a blind eye to its use.
Now that the threat of the basilisk has passed, there is no longer a need for the disruptive roaring letters. The Weasley brothers were soon summoned to Dumbledore's office for tea, and the effect was immediate. The day after their meeting, they stopped producing the letters, but they didn't seem disappointed.
"Oh my god, the headmaster wants to buy your roaring letters?" Ron asked incredulously, standing up from a patterned scarlet armchair in the Gryffindor lounge.
"Of course," George said, puffing out his chest with pride." Professor Dumbledore is an open-minded person. Some of our previous mischiefs even had his support, but we seem to have strayed from the right path with these letters."
"Why does the headmaster still want your letters?" Harry asked.
"It's a long story," George said with a sly smile. "You'll find out at the end of the term." Fred also smiled knowingly.

Sometimes, the biggest difference between high-achieving students and those who struggle is not intelligence, but self-discipline. Despite the cancellation of the final exam, many students have let their studies slip, but Hermione is not one of them.
In a way, this is both a disadvantage and an advantage for her.
She still spends her free time in the library, and her course of study is unchanged. In the morning, after everyone has completed Professor Flitwick's curse class, Hermione stops him just like before.
"Miss Granger, what is your problem today?" Professor Flitwick asked with a smile.
Professor Flitwick is a wizard with elven blood, which has given him a short stature. However, he is highly respected by all Hogwarts teachers and students for his virtue and sense of humor. His students enjoy making jokes with him in class, as his personality balances out the strictness of Professor McGonagall. His voice is sharp, giving him a sharp and pungent feeling, but he is clear and concise when teaching spells.
As a former duel champion and professor of spells, Flitwick is not to be underestimated.
Hermione is one of his favorite pupils, excelling in both academic performance and learning attitude. Except for Snape, who is biased against Gryffindor, and Professor Trelawney, who may not appreciate Hermione's lack of aura, all the teachers consider her the ideal student.
As a studious student, it is normal for Hermione to ask questions of her teachers. As a professor, Flitwick should be able to easily answer most questions, but today, after Hermione asked her question, he hesitated and started scratching his beard in thought. After a moment of silence, he made a noise.
"Miss Granger, do you think your memory loss is due to the forgetful spell?" Flitwick asked, waving his wand.
That's right, her problem is nothing else, but she hopes to find a way to restore her memory of the forgotten spell. Although Professor Dumbledore gave her some vague answers, Hermione believes that he would not lie to her. If the problem isn't with the compound potion, then the only remaining possibility is the forgetful curse.
Hermione looked to Professor Flitwick for help, but his answer disappointed her.
"According to the standards of the wizarding world, there is only one way for the caster to recover,'" Flitwick said, giving a totally unhelpful answer. "However, I want to say that this is not limited to this. Although it might be a little boastful to say so, as the dean of Ravenclaw, I always want to set an example for students. Not only do I read books from the wizarding world, I also delve into Muggle literature and happen to know some things."
He went on to say, "Magic is not omnipotent. If your suspicions are true, Miss Granger, you may encounter some aftereffects. For example, the forgetting spell may be one of the "Four Unforgivable Curses." As a Muggle-born wizard, you have a deeper understanding of both worlds than pure wizards and Muggles. You may be able to find some answers in the Muggle library during the holiday. My only suggestion is stimulation."
"I have to prepare for the next class, Miss Granger. If you have any other questions, I hope I can answer them for you next time." With that, Flitwick jumped off the stack of books and walked slowly out of the door.
"Stimulation?" Hermione muttered, deep in thought as she watched Flitwick's back.
