Capítulo 50: I Quit

Daphne gave a tight smile to the last customer who was about to leave the cafe, She waited until the old lady was gone before her smile faded away. It was evening. Daphne was slightly happy that she could finally breathe, the cafe had been very busy, but Ddeceiveas was not the only one who let out a sigh of relief when Adriel turned the close sign on the door, to show that the cafe was closed. 

"Good work today guys," Mr Mateo said with a bright smile before going to his office. 

"Daphne." Kian calls but Daphne turns away from him. Kian was the reason Daphne felt slightly happy about the cafe being less busy. Before he couldn't bother her, but now he had the time to. "How long do you plan on ignoring me?" Kian asks in a troubled voice.

'forever.' Daphne thought. But somehow she could feel the lie in her thought. 

"I'm busy Kian, just because customers are not coming in anymore doesn't mean that our work is done."
