Capítulo 12: WINNERS AND LOSERS
'AHJUHYUNG?!'
What the fuck was that?
It was probably like this: Ahjussi + Hyung = 'Ahjuhyung.'
Ki Gayoon clenched his hands tight, wondering if Noh Yuno hated to call him 'hyung-nim' that much for him to invent a new word.
"Are you the reincarnation of King Sejong?" Ki Gayoon asked through gritted teeth. Sejong the Great was the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty who developed the Hangul (Korean language) system. "Why would you invent a new Korean term just to avoid calling me 'hyung-nim,' huh?"
"Sorry, occupational habit," Noh Yuno said brazenly. "But don't you think 'Ahjuhyung' sounds cool—"
"No."
"Okay. But give me time. For now, let me call you 'Ahjuhyung.'"
Gayoon clicked his tongue, but then a brilliant idea popped into his head. "Fine. I'll allow it."
"I hear a 'but.'"
"But on one condition— you'll take back what you said about my bedroom skills."
"Huh?"
"You said my bedroom skills suck."
Noh Yuno frowned, but in the end, he let out a defeated sigh before he nodded. "Fine, I'll take it back. For now."
"For now?"
"I shouldn't assume that your bedroom skills suck when nothing has happened between us yet, so I'm taking what I said back."
Gayoon raised an eyebrow and returned what Noh Yuno told him earlier. "I hear a 'but.'"
"But if your bedroom skills suck, I'm going to rub it in your face."
Gayoon scoffed. "That will never happen— I have the skills to make you cry while underneath me."
"Well, you do look like you're good at torture—"
"Pleasure," Gayoon growled, annoyed that this punk really had a comeback for everything. "I'll make you cry my name in pleasure until you lose your voice."
Noh Yuno had the nerve to make a disgusted face.
This punk is really fearless…!
"Yuyu, Esper Ki Gayoon, I'm here!"
Gayoon glared at Moon Noa who entered the room while being noisy and nosy as usual. "You're still here?"
"Have you forgotten that we have something else to do?" Moon Noa complained. "And you destroyed the Esper Training Center. Do you think the President will leave you alone?"
Tsk.
"Excuse me," Noh Yuno said indifferently, causing Gayoon to look down at him. The punk then pointed at Gayoon's arms which were still trapping Noh Yuno to the wall. "Can you please release me from this misery, Ahjuhyung?"
Gayoon grabbed the back of his neck. "Must you make it obvious that you're disgusted with me, you little shit?"

"YUYU, wait for us at home."
Oh.
Yuno frowned at the idea of Moon Noa bringing Ki Gayoon to his house.
But what could he do?
Sajangnim owns "my" house— I'm just living there for free. If the landlord brings a guest, I have no choice but to welcome them.
"I understand, Sajangnim," Yuno said politely. "Then I'll go ahead."
"Here," Moon Noa said while handing a key to him. "Use my bike."
Yuno's face beamed. "Thank you, Sajangnim."
"Do you like bikes?"
Yuno looked up at Ki Gayoon because this grumpy old man was freaking tall. "Yeah, I like bikes especially if they're fast."
Ki Gayoon raised an eyebrow at him. "Somehow, that suits a reckless punk like you."
Yuno just rolled his eyes. "I'm going ahead. Make sure to avoid Guide Bambi-ssi. If he tries to harass you again, tell me."
"What would you do if that bastard harassed me again?"
"I'll report him to the authorities."
"That bastard is backed up by the President."
"My backup is Moon Noa-nim, so I'm not afraid."
"I don't understand you," Ki Gayoon said, knitting his eyebrows. "I thought you hate me?"
"Did I say I don't hate you?"
"Do you have a split personality or what?" Ki Gayoon asked, looking more confused now. "One minute you hate me, the next you're worried about me."
"What's so confusing about that?" Yuno asked, and even he was getting confused now. "My attitude depends on how you treat me. Plus, isn't it only natural to be worried about the victim you personally saw being assaulted?"
Ki Gayoon paused for a moment, and then he sighed and waved his hand dismissively. "Just go— you're confusing me."

YUNO easily found Moon Noa's superbike because his boss told him where he parked the vehicle.
But, just when he was only about a few steps away from it…
BOOM!
Moon Noa's superbike suddenly burst into flames!
Aigoo!
Yuno took a few steps away from the burning superbike, his hand placed over his chest because he almost got a heart attack from shock.
Then his back hit something warm and solid.
The next thing he knew, someone held him by the shoulders from behind.
"Are you Noh Yuno?"
Hmm?
When Yuno looked over his shoulder, he was greeted by a man with silver mullet hair.
So freaking handsome.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's Esper Ryu Sungbin— Korea's official #1 Esper— in the flesh.
Wait, Esper Ryu Sungbin was known as the 'Silver Phoenix' because after burning monsters or people to their deaths, only his victims' silver-ish ashes would remain.
Yuno gasped when the realization hit him. "Did you burn my boss' superbike?!"
