'I don't know how long I've been drifting in this dark space, but I do know it's been long enough for me to get over the fact that I died a meaningless death.' As the soul began to get lost in its thoughts once more a Eldritch being seemingly popped into existence in front of it.
- Eldritch being Pov -
Looking at the mortal soul before me I can't help but think 'After all these years it's finally my turn to get my own mortal.' Carefully grabbing the mortal soul I quickly flee the scene before one of my siblings show up even though it's doubtful I'd rather not risk it.
- Mortal soul -
'Shit I must have got lost in my thoughts again.' Looking around myself once again expecting the familiar all consuming darkness as usual I am surprised to find that I've somehow found myself in a living room.
"Ah your awake at last I was beginning to think that the mortal I picked up was broken!"
Turning around towards the source of the voice I am stunned to see a tentacle being wearing a sweater along with some glasses carrying a trey with drinks on it.
'What the fuck is this Pixar level shit?'
"Language please I might be a Eldritch being of untold power but I still have manners. Now would you kindly take a seat so we can talk like civilized beings?"
Deciding I'm not going to question the weirdness of this situation anymore I take a seat on the couch as the tentacle being proceeds to set a empty cup infront of me on the coffee table before sitting in the chair opposite me.
"Now let's see where do I begin? I guess I'll start with the basics you are dead."
"Yeah I already know that froze to death in the dead of winter after my car broke down in the middle of nowhere."
"I see... Then let's get to the reason you are here. A very long time ago us Eldritch beings realized that by granting a mortal soul a few wishes before sending them to a different world we can watch said mortal and their adventures without any spoilers as you call them. Now this might not sound like much to most but as all powerful timeless beings not knowing what's happening next is a rarely found event."
"Hmm the gist of it is you give me a few boons and send me off to some other world so you can watch me like some movie?"
"Well when you put it like that yes."
"Alright but I'd like to know what type of world I'm going to before I make any wishes."
"Alri- Wait your actually fine with it!? I thought you were one of those stubborn types whose suspicious of their own ancestors."
"I'm indeed stubborn but not inflexible besides I'm sitting infront of a living tentacle being that looks like it just jumped out of a Pixar movie after working a day in the office I can only be stubborn for so long before it becomes stupidity."
"Riiight so anyway about the world your going to it's one your familiar with the Harry Potter world but slightly different."
"Harry Potter huh I can work with that I'm assuming I'm going to be a wizard otherwise I don't see much point of going there."
"Of course you are otherwise I would send you to a advanced technology based world don't forget this is for my entertainment!"
"Yes your excellency tentacles I will make sure to put on a good show. Now on to more important things is it the typical three wish rule?"
"Yes wait how do you know that rule!?"
"Everyone does to some degree at least anyway I want the best magic talent possible and a magic resistant body as for my final wish I want you to be able to send me missions along with rewards for completing those missions after all if I don't have anything pushing me forward I'd probably go to Hogwarts and lay low before creating a horcrux or something along those lines before secluding myself somewhere and gathering power."
"That's... alright I can do that but the magic resistant body will start out almost unnoticeable it will only get stronger as your exposed to more magic. As for magic talent that will mainly affect spells and the like. It won't make you a genius alchemist or something like that as professions are a separate thing all together that just have some connections to magic. As for your last one I'll have to take some liberty with it as it's touching unexplored territory."
"That all sounds fine so how's the whole other world situation gonna work am I gonna start from a baby again or what?"
"No there have been disturbing consequences from doing that so in your case your memory will be sealed until your eleventh birthday where in then you'll have eleven years worth of memories stuffed into your head so that you have a natural family relationship and if you go all incest after that it wasn't my fault you were just disgusting to start with."

Just up from my bed startled I can't help but look around at the child's room I've found myself in there's children's books on a shelf in the corner along with toys and trinkets spread out across the floor.
'It's a weird feeling remembering trashing the room like this. Thankfully my parents in this life are nice though my mom does have a temper to her when me and dad don't listen. Huh yeah that feels so natural that it feels weird or maybe I'm just overreacting I don't know and don't really care. First things first is cleaning this room I handle messy but this is a safety hazard.'
While I clean the room I can feal a energy gathered just above my belly button that travels through my whole body in special pathways almost like veins bit smaller and more numerous.
