Capítulo 14: 14 Promised Bracelets
Raliz saw that the mother was doing well now. She asked them what happened.
The Mother explained everything. The Mother's name was Alecia.
"Yesterday, I got fired. Then, I was very worried about how to get money and to buy food for my daughter and then I got sick. I was unconscious back then, and I didn't knew that my daughter were begging for help out the roads. Until, those Goblins came. " Alecia said.
"Those Goblins kidnapped us and brought us here. They were going to harm my daughter, so I hid her. Those Goblins tortured me like crazy for a day but I endured it all. And then today, you came. You saved us. I am very thankful for everything." Alecia added.
Raliz empathised. Then, her gem suddenly beep rapidly. Raliz saw a red dot near her and then the girl beside Alecia changed her appearance.
The girl is a Shape-shifting Goblin!
The Goblin was holding a knife then it stabbed at Alecia in the heart. Alecia was surprised.
Blood dripped out of her mouth. Raliz was shocked.
She immediately kicked the Goblin away. Raliz held Alecia.
"Alecia... Alecia don't die, please. Hold on, I think I have some potion over here..." Raliz said while getting something in her gem.
Alecia held Raliz hand then she smiled.
"It's okay. It's alright. Raliz my daughter is right there..." Alecia pointed her fingers at the two big rocks that made a little cave.
Raliz went there and saw the Goblin holding the girl as a hostage. The Goblin smiled.
Raliz gritted her teeth. Raliz held her dagger. Then, the Goblin tried to stabbed the little girl with its dagger but Raliz threw her dagger fast at the Goblin's head.
The Dagger pierced to the skull of the Goblin. Raliz recieved an announcement.
Raliz didn't listen to the announcement. She saw that the little girl ran towards her mother hugging her.
Raliz felt pain in her heart.
Raliz went near them and Alecia told Alby some things. Then, Alecia turned her head to Raliz.
"Please, take care of my daughter." Alecia said while panting heavily.
Raliz heart went mad. Someone was about to die in front of her but she couldn't do anything.
"Please, promise me that you will take care of my daughter. I'm begging you." Alecia pleaded.
Raliz couldn't help it but cried.
"Okay, I promise. I'll make your daughter's life more peaceful." Raliz promised.
Alecia smiled again in relief and look up then let out her final breath.
Alby cried silently while hugging her mother's cold body.
Raliz was also affected by the scene, she also cried. That Goblin earlier was just shape-shifted itself into Alecia's daughter to make sure that Alecia won't be saved.
Raliz was mad at the same time felt intense sadness in her heart while looking at Alby crying in front of her Mother's dead body.
Raliz thought this could only happen in the movies but it could also happen in the real world.
Raliz lost her awareness. The Goblin didn't die.
The Goblin was about stabbed Raliz in the back
Wooosh!
Raliz turned around and she saw the Goblin. Raliz was shocked but she became much surprised when the Goblin was cut in two by the Black Knight.
The Black Knight saved her again!
"Are you alright? What happened?!" The Black Knight asked in surprise when he saw a dead body in front of them.
Raliz told The Black Knight everything that happened. The Black Knight's face turned into a grimace.
Many more Knights appeared. They cleaned the mess up. Raliz and Alby went back to the castle.
They saw Vanessa running towards them. Vanessa hugged Raliz. She knew what happened to Raliz.
Vanessa take Raliz to a private place.
"Raliz what's your plan now?" Vanessa asked. Raliz knew what she meant.
"Maybe, I'll take her... I promised her mother that I'll take care of her. I shall keep that promise." Raliz said.
"It's too dangerous to bring a child on our trip. What about let's leave her here in the castle. The maids will take care of her." Vanessa offered.
"Thank you very much, Vanessa. But It's too much. You had given me more things before, so I think it's enough. I'll take care of Alby." Raliz declined the offer.
"Raliz, don't make decision yet, it's so early, you'll change your mind. Tommorow we'll go." Vanessa said.
Raliz nodded and thanked Vanessa. Vanessa left Raliz alone.
Though Vanessa has a point in leaving Alby in the castle. This world is very dangerous. Especially, the Dark Lord is in his awakening.
All this world will be filled by many corrupted Creatures and Dark Creatures. And when that happens, many disasters will come.
Raliz thought many times if she would take Alby with her.
In the night, Raliz went to Alby's room. Vanessa and The Queen provided Raliz and Alby their own rooms inside the castle.
Raliz opened the door and looked at Alby who's playing quietly with her new toys. Alby undergone something like healing process where her memories about what happened to her mother are slowly being disabled.
Raliz called out for Alby. Alby went near her. Alby was getting more close to Raliz.
Raliz sat in the bed as well as Alby. Raliz held Alby's hand before saying, "Alby, Raliz will be going somewhere. You will not see me for days but I'll come back to you, I promise." Raliz said.
Alby could understand, she can only hear but can't speak.
Alby hugged Raliz. Raliz hugged her back. Then, Alby went to a table where a pouch was placed. Alby, snuck her hand inside it.
After that, she removed her hand. In her hand, there where two bracelets. The Bracelets have different kinds of colors. Alby gave one to Raliz and the other one put it in her wrist.
Raliz did the same and then announcement played in her mind.
"You've recieved a loot. Legendary Level: Promised Bracelet."
Raliz was stunned. How did this kid had some powerful items. Alby wrote something and she let Raliz read it.
"Raliz, Come back to me. You are the only family that I have. Please, be careful."
Raliz nodded. Then hugged Alby really tight. Raliz slept at Alby's room and she sung Alby a lullaby song and then Alby felt asleep.

Raliz and Vanessa were ready to go. They were all set. The Queen, the Guards and Alby were watching the two Women leave.
Raliz looked at the map. The map showed that they will crossed the Dark Forest. After the forest is a Kingdom. It said the map that the Kingdom was called Kingdom of the Halflings.
Raliz didn't know what is this Kingdom. Next the Kingdom of Halflings is a long Bridge of Fire and Ice.
Raliz felt that the road they'll go through will be very dangerous. She did the good decision to left Alby in the castle where she was safe.
They arrived at the forest.
The Dark Forest were very dark because of its very huge trees that covered the whole sky.
Raliz just asked Vanessa about somethings.
Raliz's first question was about the Promised Bracelet that that Alby had given to her. Raliz showed the Bracelet.
Vanessa's eyes were about to popped out of her eyes. She can't believe what she saw.
Raliz told her that Alby gave this.
Vanessa explained.
According to Vanessa, The Promised Bracelet was a Legendary Item. A very powerful Item. The Item could protect its users from any harm.
There is also a story behind the Promised Bracelets. This Bracelets were made because of the love of the two lovers. The man were about to go to war when the woman gave something him. A Bracelet. Then, the man promised the woman that he will come back to her. And when the war was ended, the man came back to the woman safely.
The Bracelet in the man's hand glowed in a rainbow light then another bracelet appeared. And in that time, the Promised Bracelets were made. The Promised Bracelets were made because of the promise that came true and the love they showed to each other.
Raliz was impressed by the story and she thought about the promise she made to Alby.
Suddenly, Vanessa said something.
"Raliz, I really want to asked you this but I can't." Vanessa said.
"What's that green Creature beside you?"
