Even though Nyx persisted day after day in calming his friends' excitement about Day's supposed pregnancy, deep down he was hoping. He might say to himself that they were exaggerating, that they will fall from the top when they realize that they had too much hope, he believed in it too. He couldn't help believing it, hoping that there was indeed his creation offspring in Day's womb. Even though he was the god of night and death, he wanted to create the life that would light up his days. Focused on his research, it took him a while to notice that his companion had been awake for a while.

"What are you looking for on the internet to be so focused?" the blond asked as he stretched.

"Nothing important. Slept well?"

"Yes, the night has been calm. Did they go to sleep early?"

"Yeah, I told them you had a bad night yesterday. Frankly, sometimes their overreactions are very helpful."

"Besides, we still haven't talked about it."
