Brown eyes with a thin shade of red, waxy complexion as well as lack of balance and responsiveness made Nyx wince. The words were useless, the questions futile since he knew that the people doing to him did not have enough blood. When that cold but emotional gaze landed on him, he could only smile stupidly. What should he say to someone who was staring at him relentlessly, to someone whose eyes revealed the devastating storm within him? They just had to come and the room had regained its former calm, silence taking place with them as they ate one of the special cookies.

"You look so much like him it's unsettling," was the first thing Nyx's uncle said when his gaze fell momentarily on the blonde omega.

"Your father. You have the same facial features but your eyes are not the same. "

"I have my mother's eyes."

"She must be beautiful."
