Still retaining the last speed and intensity, Max ran through the hallway filled with random traps without looking at his back. His concentration was at its peak. He entered the zone.
'Faster.'
Max jumped to the left to dodge an axe that suddenly appeared from the wall. He wasn't in a favorable position and had to roll. But when he rolled, he activated another trap. A lot of arrows were shot straight at him. He immediately pushed himself up with his hands and grunted.
"Ugh."
It was hard.
The traps were more sophisticated than before. They were unpredictable and fast. Some were triggered just by him passing by, and some were triggered by touch.
Some traps activated even before he reached them, catching him off guard. As a result, 15 seconds into the hallway full of traps, Max was killed by a combination of pitfall and fire trap.
He was revived and ran like a madman once again.
