I spread out a set of blueprints. “When Haynsworth came into the title shortly before the War, he had these plans drawn up. However, work couldn’t begin until 1946.”

“Hmm.”

“I have the feeling something might have been done after that work was completed. I need you to examine the cellar to ascertain that.”
