Outside the kingdom walls, a curious sight unfolded. Sebastian, led the way. Behind him, Jiàn Gāng, maintained a steady pace.

Shoot! This fast running is using my mana so fast...

Alex's quick check confirmed his suspicion. His mana, once brimming at nearly 4600, had dipped considerably.

He gritted his teeth and focused on maintaining a steady pace, hoping his reserves would hold out. Just then, Sebastian's booming voice cut through the air.

"We're going this way!" he yelled, abruptly veering left towards a dense forest with a network of streams trickling through it.

Both Alex and Jiàn Gāng followed suit, adjusting their pace to Sebastian's new direction.

The dense forest canopy offered some respite from the relentless sun as they followed Sebastian deeper into the woods. The path twisted and turned, following the course of a gurgling stream.
