Capítulo 65: [Internalized]

The tricolor light passed through the fragmented windows in different colors. In its upper part, on a mural, it read: "On the infinite window; paper mirror of the soul, ideal model. Prevents its corruption."

The lights slowly invaded the monastic environment, dethroning the few shadows that remained irreverent.

The great hall occupied a considerable space, in which armchairs, statues and their respective altar were planted; decorated with different paintings that expressed different situations.

Mostly, there was no one; only occasional servants to the church who took care of their daily chores.

But a serene image, in silence; There was a variable, who tilted their legs with boredom. Sitting on one of the numerous benches, his skin pale and hair black.

His temperament did not alter, and his gaze did not waver to his surroundings; Keeping her focused on an axis point in her feet.

The ground was cold, but not soaked in evil. The atmosphere was serene, but a perpetual silence could be malevolent.

"Don't come close, don't ask him questions. The end." A voice murmured in the distance.

Time passed slowly; the setting of a sun was not the cause of an occasion...

"Permission. Permission." An echo was heard in the distance.

Until he observed who was the cause of the commotion that was altering the peaceful reality.

A boy carried two large buckets on his shoulders. Made of wood and reinforced, their purpose is probably to carry water or another liquid.

"What are you doing here? You don't look like you're part of the church... At least start sweeping." The boy commented when he got close enough to observe him. Leaving the buckets behind, she addressed him.

"No... In fact, it wasn't part of the church. I'm simply turning my time into something valuable, investing in faith." Federick responded, hiding his face in the corner.

"Oh, really? You are truly devout, you surprise me. "gods", harass the sinner, compensate the faithful." The boy said, reciting one of the words engraved on a mural.

"That is the only "truth", brother. I am glad that you too reveal the broad reality to which this world directs us." Federick commented with a slight smile, closing his hands under a grip covered by his clothes.

"Well, I guess it's obvious... It was the church that sheltered me from the beginning. By the way, what's your name? I should recognize you some other time." The boy said charismatically, with a smile on his young face.

"My name is not important, however, my last name is. I prefer to be discreet, in "holy eyes." Federick said, finally revealing his face with an exquisite smile.

Despite this variable, the conversation continued its common flow... With the indirect effort of Federick.

Confusion was the first emotion that appeared in the servant's ignorant eyes, dancing in a continuous mixture in his characteristic brown dilated pupils.

Doubt was also a participant in such a cocktail of sensations; an attractive, addictive face that made him remain in confusion.

It was the same face with whom he chatted calmly, but the feeling of intimacy had intensified; The sensation of knowing him invaded him, but he could not penetrate his memory.

Like a rock sealed to the sea.

There are no witches here, it's normality.

"You really seem familiar to me... Maybe I've seen you at a meeting, but I couldn't remember. Are you a regular here?" The young man asked as he scratched his hair, completely unfocused from his previous task.

"No, I'm not. But I've gotten here, just like everyone else." Federick said as a mystical aura gathered around him.

"I'll tell you honestly, I don't understand you. Do you mean that you arrived on foot?" The boy asked confused.

"Exactly". Federick responded, appreciating his intelligence.

But suddenly, something happened that broke the atmosphere. A distant scream, but one that was heard close by.

"Boy, where are you?!" A voice shouted in the distance, with clear irritability.

At this, the boy next to Federick stood up straight, as did the hairs on his body.

"Pretty cartoony. Is that your oldest?" Federick asked, amused by the action.

"I can not talk now". The boy wanted to say, hesitating as he tried to retreat.

"Rest assured, we will explain the situation to them. If he is a devotee, he will understand with complete acceptance." Federick said calmly.

Words that the young man accepted, remaining next to his recent acquaintance with a certain nervousness.

When the eldest finally approached, he turned out to be an old man. His face was an expression of bitterness and irritability.

But when he looked at who his young man was next to, his face changed. A forced smile, which faltered when he saw the buckets watered without responsibility.

"Kid, what are you doing? I've been calling you with complete urgency. We need those buckets!" The old man said, ignoring Federick's presence for the first time.

"Sorry, old man. You accepted my irresponsibility, but you swore it was only because I was distracted by chatting with this good man." The boy said nervously, staring at the ground, his hands trapped.

"Wow, this is the first time I've been called a man. You should honor this young man, dear old man." Federick expressed with a small smile.

The old man's face could not bend or alter at the exchange of words; instead, he was hardened.

"Child, leave for now. I will speak to the guest present." The old man ordered with his arms closed.

"But old man, I don't think it's..." The young man wanted to express, but he was immediately cut off with a single look.

Thus, he finally left the two individuals alone, on the spacious living room.

Face to face.
