Qiao Li signalled him to be silent and Qiao Zirui nodded.

The siblings took turns to take Yu Holea's care and tried their best to hide Yu Holea's fever from everyone.

But they still failed, as Mrs. Qiao was surprised by the fact that even though Yu Holea took a leave she didn't come down for breakfast which was a little out of Yu Holea's character.

Hence Mrs. Qiao went to check and found out the truth.

As expected, Mrs. Qiao was exasperated and scolded both of them,

"Is the way to handle a situation? What if her situation worsens? You should have informed me or some other servants."

Qiao Zirui said in a low voice,

"But Mom, if Dad knew he will..." 

Mrs. Qiao made a 'hmph' sound and said,

"Do you think I am scared of him?"

Saying so she closed the door.
