“Hey, Perce.”
“Yeah?”
“Is there a couch in this car?” Diego asked.
“No, but these leather seats can actually be merged into one,” Percy replied. “There are locking devices on their backs and underneath them. Why?”
“Excellent,” Diego said without answering the question. “Let’s do that.”
After that, he instructed Rohan and Percy to get up so he could combine the three leather seats into one. When that was accomplished, he told Percy to sit in the middle before he and Rohan positioned themselves on either side. Rohan was frowning as he seemed to do nearly eighty-five to ninety percent of the time. Percy simply looked confused.
“Is there a reason to—”
“Yes, Perce,” Diego interrupted. “By putting the seats together, we can recline them almost horizontally and snuggle close to each other.”
“We can do that easily without merging the seats,” Percy pointed out while staring at Diego.
