"Is it Grandpa?" asked Talia without looking at her second cousin. She slowly left the roadside of CafeOrama, "He kept telling me not to fetch you up late."

"Oh, no. It's my friend," Liliana shook her head, her lips melting into a smile, "I've informed Grandpa that you're here."

Soon, Talia's yellow sports car sped down the road, heading to the expressway. The passing lampposts sneaked their orange lights through the windows, beaming over the two ladies' figures.

While Talia focused on her driving, Liliana tapped the notification bars of her smartphone. She had just received texts from Lucas. Joy spread in her heart just by receiving his replies.
