Liliana got ready to attend Old Madam Shen's banquet. She took a long soak in the bathtub, applied perfumed lotion all over her body and started to apply makeup.

The banquet would begin at seven and end around ten. Liliana already booked a cab to come to the apartment at five-thirty. She didn't want to be late to arrive at the Shen family's ancestral home.

For tonight's banquet, Liliana chose a mint chiffon ankle-length dress. The bodice was constructed with lace while the skirt waist down was in tutu style.

The halter neckline exposed the upper part of her shoulders. A cape made of chiffon was attached to the neckline, covering her upper arms to the elbows.

Liliana bundled up her long hair into a chignon. She put tiny pearl hair pins all over the bun as decorations. A few strands were let loose to frame her face.
