"Mama, this is so cute!"
"Can I get this, please?!"
"Oh my, such a range of clothes!"
Kendric watched as all the citizens gathered around the garment factory, more specifically, all gathering around the few tables he had set up with the clothes being displayed for them to look at. He had recently finished creating enough clothes to distribute to everyone, with some more he had stashed away in his inventory.
He was still more than fine with the clothes he had on right now, minus his hoodie which he had also stashed away in his inventory since it was pretty warm right now. Anyway, since all of the citizens were kind of desperate for clothes, he didn't mind handing the clothes he had made recently for free to them.
In fact, he was more interested in their reactions to the clothes. With the factory, he had copied various different forms of clothing that his world had designed, so he was naturally curious to see what kind of reaction they would have to such modern clothing.
From the looks of it, it was all positive.
"Kendric, this is fantastic!" Turning his head, Kendric saw Adriff walking over with a happy smile on his face. Instead of the ragged clothing he usually wore, he was now donning a pair of brown cargo pants, leather boots, and a white t-shirt. Quite the damn change. "These clothes you've made are incredible! Not only are they high quality, but they're also comfortable as well!"
'When the hell did he get changed? Don't tell me he changed right here...' Kendric sweatdropped as the image came to his mind. It literally hadn't even been ten minutes since he gathered them all here at the factory. "Glad to hear it, I was thinking of selling clothes to other nations. Export and all."
"I think it'll be a good idea, we do need a way to acquire more Mora." Adriff nodded in understanding. A majority of towns outside of the main cities usually had something to sell, that way they could actually acquire funds. "Where are you going to sell them? The chances of a merchant coming around is incredibly low, especially in this area."
"I was thinking of taking a trip to Mondstadt, perhaps get on good terms with them somehow." Kendric answered simply. He doubted he could just gain an audience with whoever ran the place, so his chances were low from what he knew. "In any case, do you know anyone who would be willing to get a job here in this factory?"
"Out of our people here?" Kendric nodded. "Well, I do know a few who would be more than willing to start working. Though, it probably depends on just how difficult the job will be."
"It isn't that hard, all it really takes is a small amount of muscle work and a good memory to remember the order of things to do. In fact, I belive that even the elders can work comfortably in the factory here, it doesn't require much muscle work after all."
"I see, then I'll make sure to inform them."
"Thanks a lot." Kendric nodded in appreciation. He didn't particularly know who would want to work here, so leaving it to Adriff to go ask them would be the best option. He definitely knew more than Kendric did. "I'm going to head back to the hall, if anyone needs anything, I'll probably be there."
With that, Kendric quickly left the area.

After the levelling up of the City Hall, Kendric had come back to see that the hall had actually been automatically reconstructed. Unlike its wooden design at the start, it now looked more like a small modern office building with the second floor having an entire wall of transparent glass at the front.
Once Kendric returned, he quickly made his way up to the second floor, which acted as his personal office space, reminiscent of that of a modern director's office. Meaning it had a single desk located at the back, and numerous different aesthetics placed around, including a few potted plants and even a few shelves and such.
Kendric was now seated down at the black wooden polished desk, leaning back in the black-coloured executive chair behind the desk. On the desk was a piece of paper, one that he could currently be seen writing on as he held his chin with his free hand.
While he was resting his body physically, he was still planning a few things for the future. He was writing down a few ideas that he might want to work on in the near future, though nothing was set in stone in his mind yet, he was just jotting down the ideas.
"I'll have to expand the crop fields once we get more people, I guess I'll leave that to Geoffrey and the others after I make them a tractor or something..." Kendric muttered to himself as he continued writing a few things down. "Oh yeah, the chat group thing..."
The chat group was also a new function that had been unlocked when the City Hall levelled up, though he hadn't been able to do anything with it really. From the looks of the screen when he opened it up, it seemed to be waiting for other people to join.
At the current time, it was only him.
.
『Omniversal Chat Group Members』
● King of Eden - [Status: Online]
● Searching for members - [Status: Pending]
● Searching for members - [Status: Pending]
● Searching for members - [Status: Pending]
.
This was all the screen showed, and he couldn't even interact with anything regarding it. The name at the top was obviously referring to him, but he seemed to be the sole member of this chat group. Due to his inability to do anything with it, he had been ignoring it for the time being.
"Oh yeah, I also have that package or whatever." Quickly opening up his inventory, Kendric saw the package he had received from the level-up located at the bottom of the menu. He tapped on it before what looked to be a small white and gold hard cardboard box appeared on his desk. "I guess I just open it..."
He was feeling a bit nervous, he didn't know if simply notifications would appear or if stuff would come flying out and smash against his face. Taking a small breath, Kendric proceeded to lift the lid as a bright glow began illuminating from within.
Luckily, nothing came flying out from the box as it began to disperse into golden particles, soon fading away into nothingness. Instead though, Kendric heard a string of notifications sounding in his head as he turned his gaze towards said messages.
『You have received 'Solar Cycle: Crimson Model'』
『You have received 'Black Sunglasses'』
『You have received 'Spartan-II Serum'』
Kendric went silent as he read the notification, blinking a few times before quickly opening his inventory back up once again. When he did, he saw the three new items he had just received present at the bottom of the list of items he already had.
.
『Inventory』
● Solar Cycle: Crimson Model - [Amount: 1] [A motorcycle capable of travelling up to a maximum speed of 500 km/hr. Built with strong yet light material, it can withstand even the harshest of environments while maintaining great speed. Being equipped with a solar charger, the motorcycle can run entirely on solar energy]
● Black Sunglasses - [Amount: 1] [A sick pair of shades]
.● Spartan-II Serum - [Amount: 1] [A syringe containing a condensed and safe substance that grants the user the physical and mental capabilities equivalent to that of a Spartan-II. Granting the user all their augmentations, as well as muscle tissue strong enough to withstand the increase of power]
.
"A freaking motorcycle?" Kendric blinked as he read the description. While he didn't have a lot of experience in riding them, he was no stranger to them either, he had a few runs with them on his grandparent's property in the past. "Also, Spartan-II? As in Halo?"
He was aware of the Halo franchise, and while he hadn't played any of the games due to obvious reasons, he had at least heard quite a bit about it. If memory served, the Spartan-IIs were the product of a program involving mechanical and biological augmentation to create elite soldiers.
'Wait, if I use that, won't it hurt like fucking hell?' Kendric smiled bitterly as this thought went through his mind. From what he knew, the procedures caused the 'patients' extreme pain. 'Then again, it'll probably be worth it considering the results. No pain no gain they say...'
Shaking his head, Kendric decided to check out the other items first before considering the serum. He disregarded the sunglasses for now though, there wasn't anything special about them, they were literally just a pair of sunglasses based on what the description said.
"What the hell?! That's a fucking duel runner!"
When Kendric summoned forth the motorcycle from his inventory, the vehicle appeared in the centre area of his office. The motorcycle had a very futuristic look to it, having a fresh crimson body with various white accents to it.
'Minus the duel disk and interface, this is just Yusei's freaking duel runner!' Kendric screamed to himself as he quickly dashed forwards and began inspecting the bike. Call him a kid all you like, but Yu-Gi-Oh was definitely one of his favourites out of the few things he had watched. 'This is awesome! It looks factory new!'
After gushing around the motorcycle for a bit, Kendric put it back into his inventory, making a mental note to try it out as soon as possible. For right now though, he summoned forth what looked to be a syringe with a gold and blue liquid inside.
"This is the serum...?" Kendric frowned a bit as he stared at the syringe in his hands. "Certainly looks suspicious, I really hope I won't regret this..."
Taking a deep breath, Kendric extended his left arm before injecting the syringe straight into any visible vein he had. After doing so, he pushed out all of the liquid inside the syringe straight into his bloodstream. He winced a bit due to the size of the needle but held strong.
"F-Fuck..!"
Kendric pulled out the syringe and immediately dropped it as an immediate surge of unbearable pain coursed throughout his entire body. His heart began beating rapidly, and he could feel every muscle in his body pulsating unconsciously.
The pain was so bad that he already found himself collapsing fully onto the ground, his limbs tensing and squirming around. He forced his body to turn as he now found himself facing the ceiling, his fingers scraping against the wooden polished floorboards hard enough that trails of blood were left by each finger.
◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉◉
At the current time, a familiar individual was seen running into the City Hall, making his way up to the second floor using the stairs on the left. He could be seen breathing rather heavily, obviously exhausted by how fast he was running.
This person was none other than Geoffrey, who began knocking on the door of Kendric's office while trying his best to calm his breathing down. He had come here to inform Kendric of something important, but he obviously wasn't just going to barge into the room.
"K-Kendric, are you here? I need to speak with you!"
Geoffrey then heard a faint voice from the other side.
"Okay, I'm coming in..." Geoffrey wasn't entirely sure what the voice said due to how soft it was, but he slowly opened the two doors leading into the room. When he stepped in, his eyes widened at a surprising sight. "Kendric, are you okay?!"
"Y-Yeah, don't worry about it..." When Geoffrey went inside, he saw Kendric lying on the ground covered completely in his own sweat. His breaths were heavier than Geoffrey's, his chest rising and lowering in response to each breath. "Can I help you...?"
"Y-Yes." Geoffery nodded as he walked over before helping Kendric stand up, leading him over towards his desk where Kendric leaned against his desk for support. "We were just visited by the Knights of Favonius's Outrider, she wanted to speak with you. She's waiting at the farm right now."
"...Knights of Favonius?"
"Ah yes, I suppose you might not have known being from a foreign land and all. The Knights of Favonius are the main protectors of Mondstadt, they keep the citizens safe and create as well as uphold laws for all of us."
"Oh, so they're the military or police force." Kendric nodded. His breathing was now mostly under control as he listened to Geoffrey. "You said that this Outrider or whatever you called them wanted to meet with me? Any particular reason as to why?"
"She didn't specify, though I assume it might be in regards to our new settlement."
"I see. Very well then, you head on back to the farm and I'll be there soon." Kendric found this to be quite the fortunate coincidence, he was literally about to meet with a member of Mondstadt's military force. Perhaps he could use this to help build a relationship between Eden and Mondstadt. "Just give me a few minutes."
"Understood, I'll make sure to inform her."
