"Don't worry about that," Ken said, his voice calm as he sat up, drawing his legs closer for balance. "Eleis actually likes Eva. She might tease her, but she wouldn't push things too far."

The effort of sitting up sent a sharp pain throughout his body, but Ken ignored it, showing no sign of discomfort.
