Lily got ready to get up to fetch some drinks, "Wait for me."

"Miss, would you like a glass of champagne?" At this moment, a waiter in uniform appeared in front of Cynthia, holding a tray and respectfully offering it to her.

Lily didn't suspect anything and placed her empty glass down, then picked up a glass of wine. Just as she was about to hand the glass to Cynthia, the waiter handed a glass of wine to Cynthia first.

Cynthia looked at the offered glass, not reaching out to take it immediately but giving the waiter a meaningful glance.

Her sharp gaze was like a knife, as if nothing could escape her eyes.

The waiter felt a thump in his heart, nervously swallowed, "Is there something wrong, Miss?"

After a moment of contemplation, Cynthia reached out and took the glass, saying calmly, "Thank you."
