“Yeah?”
“Where were you?”
“Lost inside my head,” Milo admitted. “Do you need anything?”
Jensen chuckled while shaking his head. “I’ve asked you a couple of times if you want to stop by somewhere for a coffee or something, before we return to the penthouse, but you didn’t respond at all.”
Milo nodded. “That’s a great idea. Why don’t we go to our usual coffee house near the penthouse? Kenta, I’m sure you would love to try some of their delicious sandwiches and cakes.”
“All right then,” Jensen said before he grabbed the handheld tablet next to him and keyed in their new destination. A moment later, the robotic voice of the car announced the new address, and Jensen put the tablet back to its place. “Being surrounded by so many pink things for more than two hours is more than enough to kill off any healthy brain cells I have.”
