Season Finale
I had departed Delhi at around 10 :00am ,my flight would pass through Dubai ,it was not a direct flight .From Delhi to Rio de janeiro it's an approximately 19hr50 min flight in total so I arrived in Brazil at around 6 am the following day .My friends came to fetch me at the airport.I was 6 months pregnant and still had a lot to do so I was going to stay in RDJ for a week then fly out .
"Heyyyy!!" Cynthia said hugging me tightly .
"Frieennnd!"Fatima said joining the hug .
"Pregggyyy!!" Dallin said pulling me from the others and hugging me alone .
"Gang Gang Gannnng ,y'all good ?" I said .
"We good wow pregnancy looks good on you spin for me," Dallin said making me twirl for him.
"Thank you ,you know me ."
"Stop lying to her ,you look so scary like really scary yohh im even scared to look at you," Cynthia said as she laughed .
"Mxm She is just bitter ,friend you look hot if I were a boy I would date you in fact I don't need to be a boy I can date you now ,"Fatima said as she pulled me in her arms attempting to kiss me .I gave her my cheek , "I want your lips ," she said forcing me to look at her .
"Girl chill please I don't know who you were kissing or what you were using your mouth for so please chill," I said moving away from her chuckling .
"You want it ,"Fatima said .
"I would rather kiss a bull than you," I said pointing at her while pushing her lightly ,we laughed and headed out of the airport and we went to the BnB we had booked for our stay in Brazil.
We settled in and I refreshed while they got ready as we had to go out for shopping ,I wore a Scallop Lace Triangle Bralette and a denim dungaree with white adidas sneakers .I wore sunglasses and a mask to conceal my identity and make me hard to recognize .
"You look spicy ," Dallin said .
"I know im spicy," I said posing as Dallin took pictures with my camera.
"You could have said thanks and everything could have ended ," Cynthia said walking into the room while tying her dreads into a bun ,we were all ready .
"Nahh hard pass," I said as I took my handbag and walked out of the house .
"So did you buy baby material like have you bought things for the maternity bag ," Fatima asked as we were in the Copacabana super market as we bought grocery items .I was with Fatima as we bought the basic necessities such as rice ,spices , cooking ingredients etc while Cynthia and Dallin bought the junky stuff .
"No not yet," I said picking out some spices.
"Why?"
"Well I have other plans and I will buy them when I settle down preparing for my birth maybe in new York or SK," I said looking at Fatima .
"Oh okay so have you told the baby daddy?"
"Nope I'm still thinking about all that but I will see."
"Do you know the gender of the babies?"
"Not yet will do that after settling too ,why so many questions?"
"I am just bonding with you ,we haven't talked face to face in months we are always busy but I want us to bond when we can," she says .
"Well we do bond everyday we video called or texted so .."
"Mxm anyways so you wanted to ask me something ?"
"Yes but all of you let's go join the others," I said pulling the half full trolley to the isle where Dallin and Cynthia were .
"So I wanted you guys to help me launch a brand for mothers and children so this one would be like there for the mother and child from pregnancy to birth till the desired age of the child chosen by the parent …" I explained to them.
"That's a great idea but what brand name do you have in mind ?"
"Every step," I said .
"Nice ,that's clever."
"Do you have a business plan or something ??"Dallin asked.
"Yes will send it to y'alls email ."
We got back to our BnB and settled down and packed everything we bought in the market ,we wanted to cook our own food. The next day we woke up and cooked breakfast together as we talked about our school memories .
"Yohh remember that time when Fatima was standing in class and the principal walked in on her and other people standing and he hit them ,she was so angry ," I said laughing .
"She looked mad and confused yet angry and her forehead was shining so bright I got blind ," Cynthia said laughing .
"I don't know why you always have to make me a topic ," Fatima said annoyed
"Bayeke mgani (Leave them friend) you inspire them ," Dallin said .
"Whuuu shame I would rather go blind nothing really inspires me besides her ugly looking legs and big forehead which shines like the sunnnyshine," Cynthia said laughing hard .
"Ahh why not the time when Cynthia and Fatima fought for a ruler and broke each other's rulers ," I said laughing hard as I sat down due to stomach pains because of laughing .
"Aii that day," Cynthia said laughing
"Yoh guys like I thought y'all were going to fight physically," Dallin said as he made coffee for them and tea for me.
"I don't have time to beefeefee with the forheaddeedee,"Cynthia said as she laughed while high fiving me ,I was dead with tears as the memories of that day filled my mind.
"like we careweewee,"I added .
"Oh not to forget the time Dallin said you were adopted then he said you were aborted ,lord help me you were so pissed off," Cynthia said laughing .
"And I still haven't forgiven him for that," I said taking a dish cloth to hit him he stood up and ran away, "You were so annoyed and didn't have a come back ," Fatima said .
"It's because I was tryna understand the level of his thinking , like wtf nigga what's your problem ?" I said looking at him with the eye.
"You always had something smart to say so I wanted to shut you up ," Dallin said coming back to sit .
"Oh and the gossiping we used to do and we used to judge couples just because we were single ,such bitter people we were," Fatima said .
"Nahh we didn't judge them and we weren't bitter they were so euwww and we were just pointing out facts like have you ever seen someone look like 'this ' and a girl looked like 'wow' and you just wonder how did it happen .Not judging but do you ever wonder how?" I said .
"Like especially girls in our grade stream dating boys from the lower stream like isn't that just wow chicken murder at its best ," Cynthia said drinking her wine.
"Cheers to us though for being the coolest and most chilled group ever that did shit but never got caught ," Dallin said.
"That came out wrong ," I said raising my glass of juice.
"Dirty minded and oh poor you no more alcohol for you ," Fatima said making me look at her glass while she paraded it in front of my eyes.
We spent the rest of the days touring brazil and going to the beach ,we took many pictures and videos ,being with my friends for the whole week was great I enjoyed being close to them physically and they promised to be with me when I give birth ,which I will hold them to that .
Now I had to face my demons in South Korea and I was really scared !
