"Have you been waiting long?"

The two arrived at a Sichuan restaurant not far from the Litang Hotel, a place Xia Lu had chosen in advance. Before coming, she had specifically asked Guan Li; Ye Shaotang liked spicy food, and this was the best-rated place nearby.

"Brother Shaotang, I need to thank you for giving me a lift this morning," Xia Lu raised her glass, incessantly drinking fruit milk as she was not good with spicy food, "If you hadn't arrived on time, I might have been late for work today."
