That night, Hisaki had a fulfilling dinner with her old man and her mother-in-law. She didn't forget to store her bag in her apartment first.

Mrs. Saeki cooked a bountiful and delicious feast to make up for their missed celebration together.

At half-past nine, Hisaki began to drowse. She kept pinching her cheeks, trying to stay awake. If possible, she wanted to spend more time here. She had fun listening to Mrs. Saeki's stories.

After another futile attempt to stay awake, Hisaki's head fell on the older lady's shoulder as they sat side by side.

Mrs. Saeki gently brushed the bangs that covered Hisaki's forehead. The latter pursed her lips before a soft hum escaped from her mouth. She was enjoying the tenderness that Mrs. Saeki was showing her.
