Capítulo 246: Chapter 246 Inverted Foot? Nonexistent! Grealish Knelt Down!

From 0-3 to 2-3! Su Luo's sudden burst of brilliance in the final stages sent shockwaves through the entire Manchester City team. Everyone suddenly remembered why Su Luo was nicknamed the "King of Comebacks."

Throughout most of the season, Chelsea had dominated their games from the start, often crushing their opponents early on. As a result, many had forgotten Su Luo's unique ability to shine when the odds seemed insurmountable. But these two quick goals were a stark reminder—when all hope seems lost, Su Luo's fighting spirit is at its most terrifying.

With about six minutes remaining, including injury time, Manchester City had to hold on to their slim advantage. But a sense of uncertainty crept in. Should they push forward and risk a counterattack by the resurgent Chelsea? Both of Chelsea's goals had come from quick counterattacks. Manchester City's players found themselves hesitant, unsure of whether to press on or sit back.

Thankfully, Guardiola kept his cool. He quickly signaled to midfielder Gundogan, urging him to slow the game down and use their possession to waste time. "Don't just sit back and defend, and don't push forward recklessly," Guardiola thought. "We need to manage this carefully."

Then he motioned to Grealish, who eagerly rushed over. "Jack, listen up," Guardiola began. "Don't rush your passes, and don't be too eager to break through. Dribble along the sidelines, and take your time. I don't care if you carry the ball all the way to Mars, just make sure you don't lose it. The key here is to eat up the clock, understand?"

Grealish, known for his tricky footwork, was the perfect man for the job. He might not be the best at breaking through defenses vertically, but he could always keep possession, frustrating his opponents. Guardiola knew that as the clock ticked down, Chelsea's players would grow more desperate, and desperation often led to mistakes.

"Time to turn up the heat," Guardiola mused, a faint smile playing on his lips as he surveyed the field.

When play resumed, the Manchester City players understood their coach's strategy and began passing the ball around, focusing on keeping possession. Chelsea, fatigued from the match, couldn't sustain their high press and had to fall back. Manchester City's midfielders moved the ball with ease, with only Moses and Su Luo able to press effectively.

Realizing the situation, Su Luo gestured to Moses, signaling him to pull back slightly and not rush in. "Manchester City wants to run down the clock and mess with our heads. If we panic, we'll fall right into their trap," Su Luo thought.

But he knew they couldn't just let City pass the ball around uncontested. Time was running out, and if Manchester City continued to control possession, the game would be over. Su Luo decided to take a risk by deliberately leaving a gap in Chelsea's defense, inviting Manchester City to push forward. The trap had to be convincing enough to lure them in.

Su Luo subtly altered his positioning, giving Gundogan and David Silva more space to receive the ball. "If these two get the ball with no pressure, they won't be able to resist attacking," Su Luo calculated. "One more goal, and Manchester City will secure the win. They'll be the heroes."

Sure enough, Gundogan began to find more space and opportunities to get on the ball. After being tightly marked by Su Luo all game, he now had the freedom to turn and create. Manchester City started to believe they could finish Chelsea off with another goal.

Chelsea's assistant coach Vannoli noticed the shift and grew concerned. "Su Luo isn't sticking to his man. Should I remind him? If we concede now, all our hard work will be for nothing."

"Wait," Conte interrupted, his eyes fixed on the pitch. "Let's see..."

As Manchester City's chances grew, so did their confidence. Gundogan's through balls almost broke through Chelsea's defense several times. The Manchester City players pushed further forward, sensing that victory was within reach.

Unfortunately for Manchester City, David Silva was exhausted and couldn't cover as much ground as he usually would. If he had more energy, Chelsea would have been in even greater danger.

"Gundogan, over to Silva!" the commentators cried. "The right side is wide open! Silva... oh no, he's too tired to move, he just passes it left."

"Manchester City still has two substitutions left. Is Guardiola planning to make a change?"

As Grealish received the ball, Zhan Jun, the commentator, couldn't help but worry for Chelsea. "I don't know what's happening, but Manchester City looks poised to kill off the game in these final minutes!"

Grealish took control of the ball on the left wing, mindful of his responsibilities. Aguero was making a run, possibly setting himself up for a one-on-one with the keeper. But Grealish, wary of the risk, chose to play it safe. He glanced at the scoreboard—it was already the 90th minute, and injury time had just begun. He knew he needed to stall.

Grealish quickly sped up, dodging Moses' challenge as he dribbled the ball inward and across the pitch. The fourth official held up the board: 4 minutes of stoppage time!

"There's not much time left!" Cesc Fabregas muttered anxiously as he lunged forward with a sliding tackle. However, Grealish deftly maneuvered around Fabregas, maintaining his horizontal dribble.

Matic stepped up next, and for a moment, he considered going for the tackle. But he saw Su Luo signaling him to fall back and maintain their defensive shape. Su Luo was closing in.

Matic took a deep breath, lowered his stance, and kept Grealish engaged without committing to a challenge.

"Hmm?" Grealish was hoping Matic would dive in, giving him an opportunity to make a move. But the veteran midfielder was unfazed, making Grealish uncomfortable with his persistence.

Unable to shake Matic, Grealish opted to retreat, pulling the ball back and shifting play to the side, aiming to run down the clock.

As Grealish prepared to pass, he suddenly felt a gust of wind. "What? Where's the ball?"

Grealish's heart sank as he turned his head quickly, only to see Su Luo had silently appeared behind him, poking the ball away with precision.

"Gotcha!" Su Luo thought, fully aware of Grealish's tendencies. He had been waiting for this moment to exploit a gap in his opponent's game.

"It's over!" Grealish realized, scrambling to recover, but it was too late. Su Luo had already turned and was sprinting toward the penalty area with the ball.

"Su Luo with the crucial steal! Chelsea have a chance to counterattack!"

"Pedro and Mount are making runs on the left and right! Fernandinho's moving to block Su Luo..."

As Fernandinho approached, Su Luo made up his mind. He had no intention of getting into a physical battle with the big defender.

In the world of martial arts, they say that no defense is unbreakable, only speed is. Su Luo glanced at Pedro's position and noticed Fernandinho's slight hesitation. He quickly flicked the ball with his toe, sending it to the left.

Mount, young and energetic, accelerated explosively, outpacing the tall Stones in an instant! But Stones, though slow to turn, was quick to catch up, closing the gap as they both charged into Manchester City's penalty area.

There were just 30 seconds of stoppage time gone!

Seeing Manchester City's quick defensive recovery, Su Luo didn't dare to waste any time. He gritted his teeth and ran diagonally to link up with Mount.

Mount, now in the box, looked for an angle to shoot but found himself tightly marked by Stones, leaving him with no clear shot. A hasty left-footed attempt would likely miss, and Mount didn't want to squander this rare opportunity. Just as he was running out of options, he saw Su Luo moving into space near the top of the box.

"Mount couldn't find a shot, so he pulled the ball back, laying it off for Su Luo at the top of the box!"

"Fernandinho's closing in, and Su Luo doesn't seem like he's aiming for a long-range shot!"

Manchester City's defenders were closing in fast, and the ideal window for a counterattack was quickly narrowing. Yet, instead of panicking, Su Luo grew more composed.

"If this were Ronaldo or Messi, what would they do in this situation?" Su Luo wondered briefly. Before he could find an answer, his instincts took over.

Fernandinho, as usual, was guarding Su Luo's right foot, trying to block any attempt to cut back inside. Su Luo, without even adjusting to Mount's pass, lifted his left foot and took the shot!

An unexpected left-footed strike!

"No one said you can't score with your weaker foot!" Su Luo thought, confident in his ability. Countless hours of practice had turned his left foot into a deadly weapon.

"Su Luo with the left-footed strike!"

Zhan Jun, the commentator, shouted in excitement as the crowd at Stamford Bridge roared in anticipation. Fans watching from home held their breath.

Though Su Luo had scored with his left foot before, it was a rarity compared to his dominant right foot. This was a critical moment, and he had chosen to trust his weaker foot.

Time seemed to slow as the ball curved through the air, heading towards the goal. Manchester City's goalkeeper, Bravo, dived, but he couldn't reach it—the ball was heading for the post!

"It's going to hit the post... Wait, what?"

At the last moment, the ball curled just enough to sneak inside the post and into the net!

Stamford Bridge erupted in celebration, and the atmosphere was electric!

"Goal! Su Luo's incredible equalizer from outside the box!"

"In every crucial moment, Su Luo never misses—not once!"

"He had the confidence to take that shot with his weaker foot, and that's the mark of a world-class player!"

"Chelsea equalize! Su Luo has scored twice!"

Zhan Jun's voice was hoarse from excitement.

From a 0-3 deficit to a 3-3 draw, Su Luo had turned the tide.

With just over two minutes left in the game, could Su Luo pull off another miracle?
