Capítulo 52: On to the Final Boss

As Gwyn's lifeless body broke apart into bits of energy, Zero finally felt his muscles relax. He looked down at the dagger in his hand, now drained of energy, and saw a small crack in the blade.

"Guess I only have a few uses left." He muttered. With there being no cap on the amount of energy that can be absorbed, it was only a matter of time before it broke from use. The Master Smith had warned him the one weakness was that it could only be used a few times.

Once Gwyn's body fully disappeared, the usual energy sphere took it's place which would randomly contain one of her systems.

"I have to say, I didn't fully expect you to pull it off." The Master Smith said as he navigated around the icy floor. "But that was a smart maneuver you pulled off."

"Nothing less would be enough to take her down." Zero admitted. He looked down at his lame left arm that was now a reminder of his resolve to make it to the end. Also, proof that Kai had him pegged wrong.
