Capítulo 44: Matters of the Heart, Part 2

Zero made his way back to the edge of the forest behind the forge as night fell. He used the same path that they used previously, which he now assumed was worn in by Kai.

"Where did you run off to Gwyn?" He asked himself as he traversed over some thick roots. She had disappeared from her room at some point and he couldn't locate her anywhere around the place they were staying. "You better already be here.."

He reached the spot they had surveyed the area from last time and, just like last time, saw no one keeping lookout over the stretch of land between the treeline and the forge. Zero took that with a grain of salt since they had been ambushed all the same by the Viper that Gwyn took out.

He carefully broke free of the treeline and made a quick scurry toward the forge. Once he got to the backside of it, he walked over to the same window as before. Positioned under the window in a seated position was Kai.
