And he laughed. "Oh wow. You were having a sex dream about me?"

Althea rolled her eyes, "Don't flatter yourself. It was just a dream I would never kiss you."

Darian's laughter filled the room, and he teased, "Oh, come on, Althea. You can admit it. You were having a sex dream about me."

Althea put on a mockingly indignant expression, "I absolutely was not!"

Darian's playful demeanor persisted as he leaned forward, his voice dropping to a low, teasing murmur, "Are you sure about that?"

Althea met his gaze with a grin, "Positive. It was just a strange and vivid dream. Nothing more."

Darian leaned back in his chair, still amused, and said, "Alright, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But dreams can be revealing sometimes."
