Shu Xian sat at her desk, pen in hand, listening intently to her creative writing professor lecture about the elements of a story. She had always loved writing, but had never taken a class focused solely on it before.

As the class progressed, the professor announced that their final project would be a short story that would be due at the end of the semester. Shu Xian felt a spark of excitement and fear run through her.

She had never written a complete story before, let alone one that would be graded and presented to her classmates.

As the lecture continued, Shu Xian found herself drifting off into her own thoughts. She began to think about her own life and the experiences that she could use to inspire her story.

Her thoughts soon drifted to her relationship with her professor, Pan An. She couldn't help but feel drawn to him, even though she knew that a student-teacher relationship was not allowed.
