I stood still, transfixed as I tried to process what Aimee just told me. Of a truth, the name Xander and Alexander were oddly related but there was no fucking way they were the same person. They just can't be.

"You know, no matter how hard you try to remain in denial, the truth still remains that you danced with your hot boss that you hate and you loved it," Aimee smirked, grabbing some milk from the fridge with some corn flakes.

"Xander is not Alexander," I shook my head in denial, refusing to accept it and she shrugged.

"Whatever you say sweetheart. But trust me, I can recognize Alexander from a mile away even if he is headless."

"Ewww, why would you imagine him being headless?" I scrunch my face in disgust, refusing to imagine that kind of scenario.

"I'm just trying to explain to you how well I can recognize Alexander, dummy," she huffed, rolling her eyes and I frowned.
