Lary is in the hospital at this time and is being handled by a doctor who was there, while Jacob, Clara, Mr. K, and Chris can only wait in the waiting room.

Jacob looked really panicked.

How could he not panic? Jacob, who already felt that Lary was his new friend, suddenly got hurt like that in front of him, especially when Clara said she was bleeding.

Amidst Jacob's panic and confusion, a doctor in a white coat seemed to step toward Jacob.

"Who here is the guardian of the patient?" asked the doctor towards the four of them.

Quickly the doctor nodded his head and invited Jacob to follow his lead.

"Is there a lover of the patient?" asked the doctor before entering the patient's room.

Jacob was silent for a moment and told the doctor to think of it like that, not explaining directly to the doctor.

The doctor nodded his head and reluctantly told Jacob that he couldn't save the baby in the patient's womb.
