Capítulo 380: Natsu vs Zeref
(Third Person POV)
"Is that so?" Jason said as he readied his spear, "I'll definitely love to see you try."
Zeref smirked slightly, "Oh?" He said, "You hear that, Brandish? He's challenging me."
"Your Majesty." Brandish said, "Allow me to handle him."
Zeref nodded, "He's all yours." He said, "I want the pink haired one."
Natsu scowled, "Is that so?" He said as he cracked his knuckles, "Me and Jason won't lose to the likes of you."
Jason nodded, "Yea." He said, "Besides..."
Jason's spear began to glow white as he released an aura that shook the ground. This surprised Brandish as she looked at him.
"What is he..." She said
Jason's spear then changed forms, going from a spear with 4 curved blades to a spear with a singular-bladed tip that was completely black.
"Ten Commandments: Gravity Force"
Suddenly, a powerful wave of gravity hit the area around them as Jason lunged at them, the tip of the spear being engulfed by a powerful orb of black energy. Both Brandish and Zeref noticed the immense amount of gravity that was being focused on the tip of the spear.
Zeref looked at Jason, "A black hole...?" He said with nothing but amazement
"Gravity God's Divine Spear of Destruction"
Jason reared the spear back and thrust towards Zeref.
"Your Majesty!" Brandish exclaimed
Zeref merely waved his hand and summoned a fierce swirl of black energy as the spear collided with it. The force of the impact alongside the gravity was enough to implode the ground they were standing on. The shockwave caused by the impact shattered the ground completely and all of them lost their footing.
"Oi!" Natsu exclaimed
"Natsu!" Happy said as he caught him
The massive hill they were standing on was destroyed, shattering and imploding as Natsu was being held by Happy while he floated. There was nothing but clouds of dust that was the result of the attack.
Jason was falling, standing on top of a massive piece of rock as a massive fist hit him, sending him flying away.
"What the?!" He exclaimed right before he crashed into the ground
As he stood up, no visible damage on him, he looked up to see Brandish, towering over him.
He frowned, "I guess it won't be that easy, huh?" He said
Brandish was looking down at him with a serious glare, "Of course not." She said, "I'll handle you myself."
Jason readied his spear, "Guess there's no way out of this..." He said, "I hope that idiot is fine...."
He looked past Brandish, seeing the massive cloud of dust replacing the massive hill they were on. He could feel both Natsu's and Zeref's magic power on the other side.
"Prepare yourself." Brandish said, "I'll take you on."
He watched as Brandish disappeared.
"Huh?" He said, "She disappeared?.....No....She shrunk..."
He then turned his head and saw as Brandish appeared next to him and kicked him in the face, the force of the kick was strong enough to send him reeling back.
"Shit!" He said as he rubbed his cheek, "Damn..."
He looked at Brandish, who wasn't wearing her heels but was barefooted.
"I am not one to underestimate..." She said seriously
Jason looked at her, "Hm." He said, "Under normal circumstances, I would joke about how lucky I am for such a nice and smooth foot to make contact with my face. But...."
Jason's spear changed forms, switching from a pure black spear to a spear with a wide spearhead with the edges on the side curving inwards close to where the spearhead is mounted, and a glowing orb connecting to the shaft.
"Ten Commandments: Melforce"
Jason gave her a serious look.
"This is no time to joke around." He said,
"Come."

"Natsu." Zeref said with a slight smirk, "It's good to see you.."
They were on the other side of the massive cloud of dust caused by Jason's attack that crumbled the hill. Natsu and Happy had landed in front of where Zeref was.
Natsu gave him a scowl, "What are you talking about man?" He said, "I don't know you."
Zeref raised his hands, "Oh." He said, "But I know you."
Natsu engulfed his fists in flames, "Is that so?" He said, "You're Zeref, right? Master Mavis told me about you. I don't know what your deal is but you're a dangerous guy. I can't let you leave here alive."
Zeref raised his eyebrows, "Oh?" He said, "You speak as if you're more than willing to take a life, Natsu. That's not like you."
"You don't know me." Natsu said, "I'll beat you to a pulp!!"
He then lunged at him as Happy floated above.
"N-Natsu!!" Happy exclaimed
Natsu swung his fist at Zeref, a massive trail of flames behind him.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!!!"
Zeref caught the attack with ease as an explosion of flames erupted, causing a massive shockwave.
Natsu widened his eyes, "W-What?"
Zeref smiled, "This won't be enough, Natsu." He said, "Not now, at least."
Natsu was then sent flying by an invisible force, crashing him into the ground.
"Shit!" Natsu exclaimed
He stood up and looked at Zeref, rearing his head back and charging up a massive amount of flames.
"Fire Dragon's Roar!!"
He then fired off a massive breath attack that dwarfed the Black Wizard. Zeref merely waved his hand and in an instant, the massive beam of flames was redirected away and hit a space several hundred feet away from them. The power of the breath attack caused a powerful explosion that towered over them.
Zeref was merely smiling at this, "Quite the power behind those flames." He said, "But I'm afraid you cannot fight me as you are, Natsu."
Natsu's forehead began to pop veins as he glared at Zeref.
"You bastard...!" He growled, "We're only getting started!"
Zeref then pulled out a book from inside his coat. As he did so, both Natsu and Happy had a look of surprise. They saw the book, it had the letters "E.N.D" written on it.
"Since this war is meant to end this world." Zeref said, "I guess it won't hurt to tell you the truth."
"What truth is that?!" Natsu exclaimed
"My name is Zeref Dragneel." Zeref said
Natsu widened his eyes, "What?!" He said
Happy looked at Natsu, "N-Natsu...."
Zeref smiled, "That's right, Natsu." He said, "The same name as you. I was born 400 years ago and was left orphaned after Dragons killed everyone in my village, everyone but me. They killed my parents and my little brother whom I loved very much..."
Natsu narrowed his eyes, "Oh yeah?" He said
"After that, I spent years studying magic and obtaining power." Zeref continued, "In order to resurrect my little brother. And I managed to do so. This book here is his book. E.N.D."
"E.N.D." Happy said, "That's Tartaros's Master, Natsu...."
"So that Demon is your brother, huh?" Natsu said, "What does that have to do with me?"
Zeref chuckled, "You really are dense, Natsu..." He said, "Or should I say: Etherious Natsu Dragneel..."
Natsu widened his eyes, "Wait.."
Zeref gave him a menacing smile, "That's right, my dear little brother." He said as he began to release an immense amount of dark magic power, "It is you. You are E.N.D. The greatest of my creations, the strongest of all Demons, and the one meant to kill me."
Natsu engulfed his fists in flames as he glared at Zeref, "Liar!!!" He yelled, "I don't know what the hell it is you're playing at, but I am no Demon! I'm a human! I have no brother! Igneel was my only family before I joined Fairy Tail and met my friends!"
Zeref then opened the book and swiped his finger across the pages.
Suddenly, a massive gash appeared on Natsu's chest, spewing out blood.
Happy widened his eyes, "Natsu!!!" He exclaimed
Natsu stumbled, "What the hell?!"
"Allow me to convince you." Zeref said as he snapped his fingers, "This is The Book of E.N.D. But it is also the book of Natsu Dragneel since you and him are one and the same."
Suddenly, several symbols and ancient writing appeared above the book. Zeref then stuck his fingers in the writing as the letter began to glow crimson, a light shining on his fingertips. He began to move his fingers, as if he was writing something with them.
"Natsu Dragneel's arm will fall to the ground, detached from his body."
Suddenly, Natsu's arm fell to the ground, detached from his body.
Natsu watched this with his eyes widened, sweating profusely, "W-What...."
Happy widened his eyes in horror, "Oh no!!" He cried, "Natsu!!"
Natsu then looked at Zeref who was smiling.
"Does that convince you?" He said as he swiped his fingers again, "Here, it's okay. I consider this cheating."
Natsu's arm then immediately appeared back, attached to his body. The experience was so horrifying and surreal to both Natsu and Happy that they still haven't recovered from the shock. He was merely looking at his arm, closing his hand repeatedly to see if it was true.
"400 years ago, after I successfully resurrected you." Zeref explained, "For 10 years, you ran rampant as E.N.D. Your Etherious form was much different than your human form. Think of it as the you that I intended to bring back was still sleeping as the one that I didn't want was awake and in control."
Natsu looked at him, "E-Eh...?"
Natsu couldn't do anything but stand and look at Zeref. He was still in shock at the fact his arm was easily detached from his body. Such magic...no...such power unsettled him. He had no choice but to listen, it was as if he was compelled.
Zeref closed the book, "Your terror, your destruction, it was at the same level as Acnologia's." He continued, "But unlike his, yours wasn't etched in History alongside me. No, I didn't want that. So when I sealed you, I made sure any records of you were destroyed. Only a select few were aware of the true terror that was E.N.D. Mard Geer was among them. Acnologia had never met you, but he knew of your exploits."
"What are you talking about?" Natsu asked, "I don't remember any of it! All I know was that I was raised by Igneel!!"
"Of course you don't remember." Zeref said, "I made sure of it. After sealing the other you, you woke up. You were so.....Human.....I was so proud of myself, it brought me to tears....But due to circumstances, I couldn't stay with you. I had befriended Igneel years prior so I asked him to raise you and have him teach you Dragon Slayer Magic. It was at the same time that he had developed a plan to defeat Acnologia, if the Dragons back then couldn't stop him. He asked me to send you forwards in time...."
Natsu widened his eyes, "What?" He said, "What are you saying?"
"You and the other Dragon Slayers are from 400 Years Ago." Zeref said, "At least the ones that have been adopted by Dragons. Natsu Dragneel, Gajeel Redfox, Wendy Marvel, Sting Eucliffe, and Rogue Cheney. All of you were children from the past who were sent to the future with the use of my Eclipse Gate. Anna Heartfilia, the Ancestor of your friend Lucy, she's the one who opened the gate while Lucy's mother, Layla did the same on this side of time."
"Natsu..." Happy said, "T-That's the reason Lucy's mama, died right?"
Natsu nodded, "We found out that Lucy's mom opened the Eclipse Gate for some reason..." He said, "But she ended up dying.....I...it was because of us..."
"NATSU!" They both heard a voice call out
They looked up to see Jason flying straight towards them with his spear in one hand. It had taken the form of a dark red spear with a broad blade that was glowing with red light.
"Explosion: Desperado Barrage!!!"
Jason swung the spear, sending massive slices of red energy at Zeref that caused several explosions that engulfed the Black Wizard.
Jason landed next to Natsu, "Shit!" He said, "Am I late? Natsu! What did he tell you?!"
Natsu looked at Jason, he was a bit shaken up still; the whole thing with his arm and this sudden revelation that Zeref dropped on him.
Jason then looked at Happy, "What'd he say?!"
From the clouds of smoke, Zeref emerged rather unscathed.
"Where's Brandish?" He said
Brandish appeared next to him, rubbing her arm which was charred.
"Apologies, Your Majesty...." She said while sweating, "He slipped past me."
"Hm." Zeref said, "Quite the tricky one, eh? He did get away from August, it is no problem. Don't worry."
"R-Right..." Brandish say
Jason grabbed Natsu's shoulder, "What did he say, dammit!" He said with a desperate look on his face, "Natsu!"
Happy looked at him, "He said that..." He said, "He said that Natsu is E.N.D...."
Jason closed his eyes in frustration and took a step back,
"Fuck!!"
