Capítulo 370: Parental Problem

There was no way I could stay in Italy if Demyan and his family were here. Florence was a big city but despite that we happened to be at the right place at the right time. My night of going to restaurants, possibly renting a boat or seeing a show were most definitely cancelled. 

I was not sure if I was a coward or not, but meeting Demyan was enough to remind me of all I had lost. Talking to his children reminded me that I would have had the opportunity to be in their lives if I had just bitten down and had been patient with him. We would have probably had children of our own. They would have played together and who knows maybe we would have gotten married. 

I did not want to think about Eli and Lia. The children were so cute I had to constantly remind myself to not get too attached. There was a high risk I would never see them again and I preferred they forgot about me as soon as possible.
