If ever there was a time to just go home, it was now. Traveling through the shortcut to my own realm tempted me, but despite the need I had to return to the Mist and hide out for a bit while I figured out what to do next, I took my responsibility seriously and, with a heavy, nervous heart, entered the Crosspath.

At least Egypt seemed stabilized now, and I was responsible in part for that. So I'd take the good with the bad, even if that meant finding an all-out war raging in the green carpeted hub of Creation thanks to me and what I suspected Chaos had a hand in.
