Capítulo 89: Chapter 89: Second Guesses

I would have marched into Egypt and probably made a mess, lost my will and my heart if it wasn't for Tulip being right there with me, one hand settling on my shoulder, turning me toward her before I could do something stupid. It was clear she wanted to talk. I stared up at her, breathing heavily, heart racing, hearing the thud of her hooves on the deep, green carpet as she shifted positions before me. My head ached from all the possibilities and my attempt to cling to the hard edges of my anger so I didn't crumble and turn into a creampuff before I had a chance to talk to Ra. It would be so much easier to go back to my throne room, to take on Chaos's persona and continue with the long line of monsters still waiting to greet me instead of marching for the Egyptian Pantheon to talk to someone who, it sounded like, couldn't care less if Creation fell apart because of me or not.

Tulip didn't speak despite her aura's humming need to say something so I did it for her.
