Cara momentarily paused and blinked, then shrugged, and bit into the wrap. Hers will be the first bite!

Hans, unable to contain his curiosity, demanded a wrap for himself. However, Cara didn't respond. Her mind was filled with thoughts of the meal's taste and her reaction after tasting the food was far from pleased.

'It's bland, just a hint of saltiness. But adding more salt won't help. This world lacks the variety of spices and condiments I'm used to. Just where can I even find soy sauce or a good marinade in the goddamn place?' she grumbled, frustration creeping in, ultimately losing her appetite.

She had hoped to recreate a taste of her world, but the result was far from satisfactory.

"Cara?" Cain and Hans' voices pulled her from her thoughts.

"What?!" she snapped, only to realize it was her partners calling her. "Oh, sorry. I was lost in thought because of its taste."
