SERA's POV

"I don't want a bodyguard. Ramik is enough for me." I said when Chris answered his phone. I heard him yawn. Was it still nighttime in his end?

"Why? I just want you to be safe. And why are you calling him like that?"

"Excuse me?"

"Why are you calling his name like that."

"…" That was not the point!

"And you need a bodyguard."

"How about letting him guard the house for now?" Still, someone as a bodyguard is really too eye-catching.

"Thank you, Mr. Quinn but I'd rather not do that. I am fine on my own."

"How about… not letting anyone see him?"

Sera turned silent. "Like in the shadows?" I am not that stupid. I knew that people might still target me, especially madam Fu. "Alright. Just don't make it too obvious."

"Thank you."

Why is he thanking me?

"By the way… did you miss me?" Chris asked.

"Yeah… it's boring here."

"Good. Keep missing me."
