Escribe una reseñaI really like it. It's not a bad story I suppose. The only thing that I wasn't sure about was everything after the first 12 chapters. Like the story spends 12 chapters setting something up and then throws that out the window for some reason. It took some time to get used to but I really like it yeah.
So. Phoenix Flight. It's definitely an ambitious story, and I really hope I can see it grow and culminate, since I really believe it has the potential for some of the most impactful and emotional plots and character arcs I've ever read. The story walks the line of a dark & epic plot and lighthearted humour very well. Most of which is achieved through the amazing characters. Davi is a great mc, I don't think I've ever liked a main character as much as him.
It's a great story! Although it was kind of a weird cut I think it was really important to show Davi at his lowest point in the beginning to create suspense and fear of what's to come. Also hats off for some of these twists, I almost never see them coming & they turn out to be so dark that I don't trust anyone in this novel anymore. So it's been a really unique read, give it a try.

A masterpiece beyond all respects. Approach your bookcase, toss out the Tolkein Collection. Sayonara, slightly problematic stories from Lovecraft. Arrivederci, Mr Doyle. Never read a book again, for you shall forevermore be disappointed by what life will supply from this day onwards.

It's an okay story but does have some faults but other then that it's still at least an okay story. It could be better though I will say that. Maybe my review will change later but right now I'll say its a meh.

Just wait until you see the main boys' powers. So yeah, it's a great read, lots and lots of quotable lines and dark humour & if you're here for the plot world building and characters you will not be disappointed. With kind regards - definitely not the egg shaped man
