His words were indeed the truth, there was a force that wanted the death of Shanu who was the pinnacle of a human warriors. Shanu was a Saint that protect the East from the South. He was one of the last lines of the entire continent.

The woods made a creaking sounds as the wind blew through the darkness. The lonely moon illuminated the gloomy woods that were filled with spirits and monsters.
" Shanu is still alive. Our society can't penetrate through the continent if we can't wipe out Harmony Temple. Their elders and students are enough to stop artificial spirits."
A man with a hood said, holding a candle that was emitting a strange odor. The candle's dim light showing a strange shape like was a floating skull. The ominous sign of light didn't bother the other dark figures as they kept chatting. Each of them was filled with dark energy which was unique.
" Hmm, the Order is still observing our movement. Moreover, Southern Gods are still looking for us. We can't go to the West either. Their forces will clash with us."
A man with a tattoo spoke with a hoarse voice. His voice was vibrating with a magical wave, killing intent was deeply rooted in his magic.
" Indeed, what about Chaos Island? We can use those pirates."
The blind monk said, chanting a mantra in his mouth. His suggestion wasn't that bad since the island was close to the three continents, but there was a problem.
" The Sea Goddess is guarding the island. She will directly kill us if we try to rule the island. Besides, those pirates aren't that weak."
Elder lich said while holding his cane. His ghostly eyes shone brightly under the moonlight to show he despise of living beings. Particularly, he hated divine gods who were natural enemies of the undead. They loathed them, despised them, hated them, and damned them.
" Then, I will move alone. Eastern continent is my home."
Finally, the woman with an enchanting look spoke. Her black hair was long enough to reach her waist and her face was beautiful as the pearl of the sea. Her violet eyes were gazing at them with indifference since she didn't like them. Only her goal was the same as theirs.
She reached out to her robe and pulled out a scroll that was filled with ancient writings of Titans. Her magic was enough to hold this powerful artifact.
" So, you are finally moving, huh? The witch of destruction, Meera."
The lich smiled evilly, hiding his intentions in his mind. Honestly, he was wary of this woman who had so said unlimited mana. Her strength was enough to rival Demi-Gods and spirit guardians. She was the ultimate symbol of destruction that spread dread and fear everywhere she go.
Swoosh*
Four black orbs floated around her as she flew up. Her jet-black hair dyed the moonlight with its luster and elegance. However, no one knew that was the deadly light which was looming over the entire continent.
Lao got up, as usual, washed himself, and went out to bring materials. Unlike other students he chose to stay in the temple, guarding it with his sister.
" Good morning, Lao. Do you want the usual? Has the master returned yet?"
The vendor asked, handing a few groceries along with some bread. He knew Lua loved his bread, so packed them as a gift to her.
" No, he hasn't returned yet. It seems something serious came up."
Lao smiled, taking out a few bronze coins from his pocket to pay for the groceries. The vendor chuckled, thinking nothing out of ordinary. The folks in the town respected the temple with their utmost. They were their guardians and friends who always protected them and blessed them.
" Tell Lua that I will be baking a raisin bread tomorrow. She loves eating that."
He spoke, waving his hand. Lao bowed down while greeting other people. The townfolks laughed, and chatted with him while giving him new gifts. As a monk, Lao couldn't dare to refuse their kindness.
" Bye, I will meet you guys tomorrow."
Lao sighed, bidding farewell. Unknown to him, the town was already tainted with the color of its inevitable doom. Their fate was sealed once the witch left her home.
