Capítulo 15: Chapter 15 – Alchemy Class [2]
No one cared about their conversation.
Most of the students went to the shelf to obtain the ingredients and began to mix them with a beaker and a beaker holder called Erlenmeyer Flask, ignoring the heat that originated from the glass apparatus that could raise the temperature of the liquid inside.
The students weren't weak enough to be burned by a mere flame. Akari even created her own flame on a candle.
'It looks fun to make a potion.' Ars picked some ingredients and laid them on the table. In front of him was a mixing flask. Taking a glance at the name and step for the potion creation, he nodded.
'Let's get started. The first step is to chop the Brightgreen Herb into powder form. It's a small plant, so I need to be careful.'
A mechanical grater waiting on the table. Turning the handle would cause the metal wheel to turn and grind the Brightgreen Herb finely.
'Powdering it up. This step was surprisingly easy. Hm, the next step...'
He followed the procedure written in the book and simply used a small stirrer to add in the substance.
A smile formed on his face as he noted that the product now had a pink shade.
'Add the Honey and milk and let it boil. Wait 10 seconds before stirring. Next...'
"H-Hey, wait..."
'Now pour in a mixture from the Liquid Steel Beaker into the flask. Stir the content and wait a minute.'
He did as written, but Luna had become impatient. Looking like her sanity had been compromised. However, she couldn't say it. Her fate was locked. If she interrupted him, she didn't know what his maid would do.
'This is bad, bad, bad. He mistook Brightgreen Herb with the Nightshade Bush.'
There were only a few differences between the two plants. The shape was mostly the same with Nightshade Bush lacking the green color that made Brightgreen Herb look like they grew in the daylight.
The scent was also similar. However, their effect was different.
Ars didn't know that and continued. Life potion was supposed to gain bluish green color, but now his potion was bright pink because of the Nightshade Bush.
He needed a pinch of it, but he placed a whole plant instead.
'Well, there's a difference between pinch and a whole plant, but it will be okay. It will increase her lifespan to a week, hopefully. The more the better, right? Or something like that.'
Because of his upbringing, Ars was the type not to care about minor things. As long as it worked, then why did the color matter?
Even if Nightshade Bush had a different effect from Brightgreen Herb... As long as it worked, it would be fine, right?
Professor Oogie observed all of his students, with a keen smile and knowing smirk on his face. Students all made their potion. Among them, two stood out.
One was a student who came from an alchemist background. She was called Lek. Her short green hair was cute, and her eyes were filled with madness. Her pet even trembled at the sight of her making a potion.
"Hehehehe, my creation. That's almost done. Yes, quite done. I wonder what kind of result it will be. Mine is good for sure. If not, it's still a very good experiment result."
Unlike the others, she didn't follow the recipe and created her own potion.
The other student was Ars. The potion he created didn't follow the prescribed recipe. In fact, this was an impure concoction with unknown effect.
Other students didn't notice, but Professor Oogie and Luna certainly knew its effect.
'He want to make her obedient to him. He's really ruthless and talented, fitting of being a member of the Eldritch Family.' Professor Oogie thought.
'Master is a monster! He will seriously kill me!' Luna lamented the fact she had become his pet. Her heart was thumping wildly inside her ribcage, praying that nothing happened.
She would be forced to drink the potion without any choice. If she didn't drink it, Ars' grade would be an automatic F. She knew how this school worked.
And if he gained F in an alchemy class even though he finished creating his potion...
'This fool! Why did he make this kind of potion! And that smile... He certainly did it while knowing the effect. An unfiltered, corrupted and chaotic potion. This bastard is definitely plotting to erase my willpower and thinking!'
Luna wondered, where did he learn about this impure potion. A Submissive Potion, something that usually be used on a monster race, not on a human.
Such a potion would mess up Luna's mind.
'I need to neutralize its effect with my magic or I won't be the same. It will only be effective for 3 minutes, but within that short time, if he did anything, my mind will be warped. I need to prepare countermeasures to resist it.'
As if the professor had sensed something strange, he raised his head to see what was wrong with Luna. The chaos slime stared at her, making her stay in place. She realized that she had no choice at all.
"It's done!" Ars spoke out, full of pride. The hot liquid inside was glowing in bright pink.
At that exact moment, Luna closed her eyes, clenching her teeth in agony, expecting something.
Professor Oogie smiled.
"Very good. You have completed the assignment. This potion... have her to try it. Let's see its effect."
Ars nodded. He looked at Luna. The fact she didn't say anything meant his Life Potion was completed, right? Not messed up or added another ingredient.
And she had no choice but to gulp it down.
The other students had also completed their potion. Slammy gave a happy grin as she gave the cat girl her potion.
"Here! Take this Anti-Acid Potion and hug me! I poured a lot of love into this potion."
Even though he didn't know her name, Ars looked as Slammy's pet collar shone. The cat girl's body was forced to move. With a single gulp, she drank the potion and jumped into Slammy's hug, ready to be melted for the second time since yesterday.
However, the potion worked. The melting process was painfully slow, making her groan weakly. She still had an agonized expression, unable to deal with the pain.
"Yay!"
Slammy did a happy dance.
The next student to drink the potion was Luna. Ars glanced at her hand as if saying 'well, drink it. Don't let us fail the class'. The Young Witch wanted to curse at him, but eventually lost the will to fight and decided to drink the potion.
"H-Here I go."
Gulp.
As soon as she drank it, her body temperature rose. Heat rushed to her cheeks. Her nipples underneath her clothes hardened. Sweat trailed down her face. In the eyes, it seemed like Luna was somewhat hypnotized.
"M... Ma... Masteeerrrr..." She cooed cutely, nearly panting from the heat inside her. Her hips arched, wanting something, something that wasn't there. She didn't know.
Looking at her, Ars was slightly confused. The potion shouldn't have had this much effect, should it?
Was it because he used a whole plan instead of a pinch?
But the bottle was already emptied. He might have messed up, but it was too late to give up.
His eyes moved away from her body and stared directly at her soft plump chest. They moved up and down, giving off a hot and seductive impression. A sense of possessiveness stirred up in Ars' mind.
His eyes that were filled with a powerful gaze fixated upon the female in front of him. His blood began to boil with rage.
His head turned to Luna.
"...M... Master." The witch whispered meekly. "C-Can I touch you?"
'What the?' Ars blinked. 'Well, whatever. Maybe this is the side effect of the Life Potion.'
"I give you permission."
Bright smile appeared on her face. She wanted to touch him, so she touched her softly, in a cute and innocent way.
Professor Oogie's body shook.
"Great. Slammy and Ars, don't you think your potion just works a little too well?"
Slammy grinned at the Professor, the cat girl in her hand was still suffering from her hug.
"Hehe, I did my best to hug her! Now I can hug her for a minute before she melt instead of just 3 seconds!"
The slime girl praised herself, but her pet just cried out louder.
"Nooooooo!"
After that, other students began to speak.
"I gave her a Durability Potion to make her skin's durability the same as a tortoise's. She would be immobile for a while."
"I made a potion to make them unable to say no to my command."
"I made a potion to strengthen the hair growth. It also strengthens the body too, I suppose."
One by one, the pets were changing in response to their owner's potion. Some were drastic, some were just a bit. Akari's pet, the girl with four breasts, had become bald.
"Hair Removal Potion. You can use the potion I make as a razor for your body." The oni answered when asked what she made.
"Nice! Such a good potion." The Professor noted that and laughed.
"Not as good as Ars, though. Look at him! Look at Luna."
Two classes quieted down to observe Ars and Luna.
He turned to the teacher, not knowing what had occurred. Luna was breathing heavily as her fingers pinched his white shirt. The way she acted was vastly different from before.
"A potion that can even cause a change in personality, huh? Even if it's temporary, it's a difficult potion. As expected of you, Eldritch Boy."
Ars scratched his back.
'Ah.'
His mind was in shambles, but Luna's reaction quickly gave him what happened. He unconsciously made a different potion. One that changed someone's personality.
'I screwed up.'
He gulped, noticing her beastly gaze.
'The witch looked like she's going to pounce on me. I am scared. Help!'
