Mei came to the Shiroyuki dojo early in the morning because she was worried about Kazuya. Though everyone in the Kouzuki house was informed of the excuses they thought of to not let them worry, she was well aware of just what he intended to do.

"He's exhausted from overusing what you guys call mana. Since it is related to internal energy, I know that he will need a lot of rest to recover so he might not be able to go to school today"
